An expectant Bethenny Frankel arrived at The Wendy Williams show on Wednesday (February 24) bundled up in a black knit turtleneck and a cozy white coat.
The 39-year-old The Real Housewives of New York City star recently confessed that her pregnancy is affecting her entire outlook on life:
I feel like I am meant to be pregnant, which I never knew because I always thought I was this bitter woman, bound to adopt kids and be cold for the rest of my life. I now realize that I do have a heart. When you get pregnant, you realize that you care about more than yourself.
Bethenny’s first child with fiancé Jason Hoppy is due this summer. The couple met in late 2008.View Slideshow »»
Fresh off of playing a multi-tasking mom on the big screen in last year’s Motherhood, Uma Thurman says she’s trying to find the balance between kids and career in her own life as well. The statuesque star, who has children Maya, 11, and Levon, 8, with her ex-husband Ethan Hawke, shares her thoughts on movie-making and being a mom in a new interview with The Times Online.
“Becoming a mother definitely took the focus off my work, and I didn’t mind,” says Uma, who has starred in box office hits such as Kill Bill and Pulp Fiction. “Then I had a few panics that I couldn’t get a job any more, and then I would get one. I love what I do. For my wellbeing, I need to be reminded that I have other purposes. In the old days, people pined for their husband. In modern life, your work is like your man, your love.”
A big part of being a mom? Going to the grocery store. Once upon a time, when you were fancy free, you had the option to eat out every morning, noon and night. But once you have kids, that kind of restaurant lifestyle just won’t fly. One reason- taking kids out to dine can be a challenging event. Plus you need to have milk, cereal, snacks and loads of their fav foods on hand for those ever hungry and growing bodies. So your fridge and pantry needs to be stocked, very stocked.
Many celebrity moms can afford and probably opt to have their “people” do their grocery shopping for them. Some may have chefs to deal with all their families’ dietary needs. But others, they hit the grocery stores themselves, proving to the public (and the ever watching paparazzi) that they’re just like us! Check out six celebrity moms and dads who do their shopping.
Jon Voight is dishing a few of the details of his recent vacation in Venice, Italy with his estranged daughter Angelina Jolie and her big brood.
“It’s nice to have something that’s positive!” the 71-year-old actor tells US of his Italian vacation, where he was spotted joining the Lara Croft star, her partner Brad Pitt and their kids on a boat ride down the Grand Canal. “It’s a very beautiful trip. A lot of fun.”
Jon was thrilled to spend some time getting to know his six grandchildren – Maddox, 8, Pax, 6, Zahara, 5, Shiloh, 3 1/2, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 1 1/2.
“I have baby pictures that are very resembling of Shiloh,” he says of Brad and Angie’s adorable daughter. “I don’t know about all the resemblances, but obviously there are some because of the genes.”
The Jackson kids were spotted out in Encino, Calif. Wednesday (February 24) on the way to their weekly karate class under the watchful eye of their bodyguards.

Nadya Suleman, known to the world as “Octomom”, has been a tabloid target ever since giving birth to her octuplets last January. On Wednesday (February 24) the 34-year-old mother chatted with The View crew about whether or not she’d ever add more children to her family.
“If someday far, far, far, far in the future, when they’re older, if I meet somebody… I’m not going to say 100% ‘no’”, says Nadia, who is mom to six older children in addition to her eight 1-year-olds.
Much of the controversy surrounding Octomom and her offspring concerns her finances – a point which was brought up during the interview. “Every single hour of the day, I contemplate how I am going to do this, to be able to support them,” says Nadya, who had been working on her master’s degree in counseling before the arrival of her octuplets. “It’s a Catch-22. If I go back to school… I couldn’t possibly earn enough money to take care of them… So the only other option is to delve into other opportunities… you know, doing interviews… to make the money.”
The mom-of-14 confesses that she sleeps just “two hours a night”:
My life has become literally a blur of child rearing.
She also went on to talk about her motivation for losing the 145lbs of baby weight: “The main reason was obviously revenue and I’m the first to admit it. I’m very, very open and honest about that.”
Nadya is a single mother. Her children were all conceived via in vitro fertilization.
