Pete Wentz, new dad to 1-month-old Bronx Mowgli, revealed that wife Ashlee Simpson’s breast milk tastes “soury” and “weird” on SIRIUS’ The Morning Mash Up! on Monday. Us reports that the 29-year-old father may not be a fan, but Bronx Mowgli is: “The baby loves it, it’s the only thing he’s had a chance to have.”
Pete also revealed that Ashlee isn’t the only Wentz that gained some pregnancy weight: “I gained 10 pounds at least. I usually hang out around 135, 134, I go up to about 140, and when I hit 148, I get fat face.” He added, “I’m working out a little bit, trying…I mean last night I decided to eat Virgil’s [BBQ] at midnight which is never a good idea…I’m feeling that a little bit today. For the most part, we’re going on walks – that kind of stuff. I think it comes off easier for her because she gets to breast feed and I don’t have the luxury of doing that.”
Pete also shared his “scared daddy moment.” The new dad said, “I had a scared moment right before she went into labor – I thought I was having a heart attack for real, like my heart started doing like a weird thing. But, the first time I held him…I just knew everything was perfect. Like everything was good – it was like Legos, you know what I’m saying, like it all fit together.”

Pete said he’s hoping to have more children in the future. “I want to have six now. I mean not six specifically, but I want more…I can’t imagine that we’re stopping, you know what I’m saying? This is like a Journey song, it’s like the chorus is just going to keep coming.” He added that little Bronx is destined to be a musician in the making. “You know he’s already got a little bass, he has a little piano.”
And what about Bronx’s first Christmas? Pete said, “I don’t think at one they matter that much to him, but they matter a lot to me, so I’m going to be there sweating it out, putting things together…the night before Christmas because I know that’s what my Dad did and I know that’s what I want to do.”

The Duggar family, which just welcomed #18, Jordyn-Grace, was on the Today show this morning, and Ann Curry asked new mommy Michelle, “How many children is too many?”
Michelle’s reply: “Saying there’s too many children would be like saying there’s too many flowers. You just can’t have too many. I think they’re precious and just a wonderful gift.”
Added one of her daughters, “It’s like having a live baby doll.”
As for how mom and baby are doing, Michelle says,
“She’s doing wonderful. I’m really thankful. I’m feeling good. We’re enjoying our sweet little girl.”

Courteney Cox Arquette is currently promoting her new movie, the Disney blockbuster Bedtime Stories, with Adam Sandler. The 44-year-old mother of one, best known for her role as Monica Geller in the popular television sitcom Friends, recently talked about her new film, her marriage to David Arquette, her friendship with Jennifer Aniston and her 4-year-old daughter Coco.
On the joy of being a mother: “I can’t imagine life without a child; I don’t even remember what it was like four years ago. Coco is everything to me. We did a lot of in vitro fertilization, and it was tough. But we’d waited a few years before trying, and in retrospect I would say: don’t wait as long as I did, especially if you want more than one child.”
On if her career has had to take a back seat since being a mom: “Not at all, because until Coco starts school I can take her everywhere I go for work. She came with me to Mexico at four weeks old, she’s been to New York ten times.”
On her recent flick Bedtime Stories: “I was so excited to be part of a movie I can watch with Coco. She [Cox's character Wendy] is a headmistress whose school closes. She has to look for a new job, and there’s no one to look after her two children except her hotel-handyman brother Skeeter [Sandler]. It’s a wonderful family film, a fairy tale for everyone.”

On Coco’s favorite bedtime stories: “Coco’s favorites are Sleeping Beauty, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast – she’s totally into princesses.”
On Christmas in the Cox-Arquette household: “Christmas is insane in our house. I say: “Let’s buy Coco one good toy”, but he wants to buy her 900 presents. Our compromise lands closer to David.”
On Coco’s devoted godmother, Jennifer Aniston: “Coco calls her Noona, which is Greek for godmother; they see each other and play together every weekend. The other day Jen came over with her yoga teacher and Coco stuck it out for an hour doing yoga with them!”
On her marriage to David Arquette: “I don’t like to make plans because it makes me feel trapped, whereas he likes to know exactly what he’s doing; he’s happier with defined boundaries. But we have a good balance. He’s got the best heart, he’s so giving, he’s smart and creative and he’s gorgeous. Even though he acts kooky, David is as grounded as anyone I’ve ever met.” Courteney goes on to discuss marriage in general: “Is marriage for ever? I think you get married with the intention that it will be, but who knows? I get shocked by people getting divorced all the time, that’s why I choose to work on it. Therapy helps us. It’s so easy to grow apart; marriage takes work. I suppose you can work it out by talking to each other – I would just prefer to have a referee, it reminds us why we’re together.” Courteney outlined how her own parents divorced when she was a child. “Before my dad died, he said one of his big regrets was that he hadn’t worked on their marriage enough. I don’t know what the future’s going to hold, but divorce isn’t really an option.” Courteney added that she and David don’t argue about work, “It seems like it would be the worst thing in the world but we manage to handle it really well. We argue, but never about work. We love being together. Every Sunday we have people over to our house. David does the barbecuing, and we have a fantastic chef, Patrice, who makes great salads, vegetables and fish. Sunday is my favorite time because it’s really about friends.” When asked if these friends include Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher, Courteney said, “And, yes, Jen’s there just about every Sunday.”
On her friendship with Jennifer Aniston: “We’ve known each other nearly 15 years now, we grew up together emotionally. I lost my father, Jen got divorced, and I had a baby. We’ve been through huge life changes together. I can be myself around her. We never judge each other, we support each other, but we’re honest with each other too. I feel lucky to have her.” When asked about Jen’s love life, Courteney said, “I want for Jen whatever she wants; she’s really happy at the moment, so I don’t have to worry about her.”
On having any plastic surgery: “I’ve done Botox, and there were times when I thought, “That was nice”, but I had one bad experience when I wasn’t able to move my face for two or three months.” When asked if she’ll do it again, she replied, “I don’t know. I’m sure I’ll be tempted when I get older, but you see too many people who look really strange.” She added that David doesn’t think she needs any improvement. ‘He loves the ageing process; he thinks it’s beautiful. Right now, I don’t do Botox – or anything except this,” she said, pointing to a variety of creams and serums by Kinerase, the American skincare company for which she’s spokesperson.
On her next project: “I’ve just closed a deal to do a TV comedy called Cougar Town. I play a 40-year-old divorcée from Florida who’s attracted to younger men and has a teenage son.”
On her dreams for 2009 and beyond: “I’d love to work with Morgan Freeman and Meryl Streep. And I’d love to direct more.” (She has already directed her friend Laura Dern in a short film.) “And I’d like another child, and maybe if it doesn’t work, I’ll adopt. There’s no doubt that motherhood is the best thing in my life. It’s all that really matters.”
