While running our business, taking care of my two little ones and everything else that goes on in a day, organizing our life on scraps of paper and by memory doesn’t work so well. After receiving the momAgenda Desktop Planner, my life has become so much more organized and I’ve been able to manage my time more efficiently. It has truly been the ultimate lifesaver!
What I love the most about this planner:
* 17 months of weekly and monthly pages
The first section is split up into months like a regular calendar for spaces to jot down upcoming appointments, dates or any notes you might have.
The weekly section (my personal favorite) has a spot “My Week” with which to jot down notes or plans for A.M, Noon & P.M. as well as spaces to keep track of daily activities for up to 4 separate children. I can neatly and efficiently organize everyone’s to-dos and schedules all on one page!
* Double ribbons for bookmarking
These are great when you want to keep your “spot” on more than one page.
* The lists of important holidays, websites, online resources and Toll-free numbers are extremely handy.
* Removable & reusable momEssentials pamphlet.
Not only is this booklet an address book, but it has pages to store important information, phone numbers, websites, passwords, birthdays and anniversaries.
*Available in a wide variety of stylish and stain-resistant colors with personalization options available. I personally love their faux crocodile covers!
Although the cost is a little higher compared to other planners , the momAgenda Desktop provides elegance, style and everything you could possibly need in a day planner.
momAgenda has kindly offered our readers here at Celebrity Baby Scoop an exclusive 20% discount on everything in their store. Discount code CELEBMOM is valid until 10/31/09.
Motherhood certainly seems to be a perfect fit for actress Minnie Driver – not only is she a mom in real life to her adorable 1-year-old son Henry Story, but she’s playing one on the big screen as well in the aptly titled new flick, Motherhood.
At Wednesday night’s New York premiere of the film (October 14), Minnie was only too happy to chat about her favorite little ladies man.
“He blows kisses at ladies in the supermarket. He’s a big flirt! Big blue eyes, white-blond head of hair – he’s very handsome,” the proud mom told In Touch.
She also dished on a few of Henry’s latest milestones: “He’s walking, he’s starting to say a few words, he snuggles with the dog. He’s just heaven!”
Motherhood, co-starring Uma Thurman, hits theaters on October 23.View Slideshow »»
Trista Sutter, former star of The Bachelorette, is the first to admit that taking off the baby weight is really hard work. The 36-year-old mom-of-two gained roughly 43 pounds before giving birth to her second child in April. She is now down to 108 pounds and talking about her weight loss with Life & Style. “It was harder to lose weight this time around. I gained 10 more pounds this time” with Blakesley, 6 months, than with Max, now 2.
Trista went on to say it was hard, yet rewarding to find the time for herself: “I’m in mommy mode all day long, so to have an hour to myself four times a week to just sweat it out is a little relief for me. My routine is a mix of cardio and interval resistance training.” Trista also said her diet was different the second time around. “I had gestational diabetes with Max, so I really had to watch what I ate at the end of that pregnancy. With Blakesley, I didn’t have diabetes, so I went all out — I ate everything.”
After six to eight weeks of hard work, Trista started to see results. “I’m definitely my own worst critic. I’m very critical of how I look and feel, mainly because I want to feel sexy for my husband,” Ryan Sutter, whom Trista met on The Bachelorette and married in 2003.
Looks like there was a playdough playdate at the McDermott-Spelling house this week! Little Liam, 2, smiled for the camera as he showed off his work of art – it’s an alien, in case you couldn’t tell.
Tori and her husband Dean McDermott are also parents to 1-year-old daughter Stella.
Ava wears Dittany Baby Cotton Candy Tights – $10 – $14.50 for sizes 0-6m – 6-7y
Christopher Reeve will remain a superman in many of our hearts and minds. The accomplished actor sustained a cervical spinal cord injury after a horse riding accident in 1995. His quadriplegia led him to advocate for people with spinal cord injuries and he later became the voice for human embryonic stem cell research. Reeve died at 52 from cardiac arrest caused by a systemic infection. His beloved wife Dana died of cancer less than two years later. Together, they formed the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation, which left a lasting impression on their son, William, now 17, and Reeve’s two older children – Matthew, 29, and Alexandra, 27 – from his previous relationship with girlfriend Gae Exton.
On November 1, Christopher’s eldest son, Matthew, will be doing something he never imagined possible: running the NYC Marathon. The eldest son of Christopher spoke to In Touch about his plans to represent the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation in the race:
My father would probably wonder what happened to his son, who’s this imposter?” Matthew days. “Hopefully, he’d be impressed.”
For those who knew his dad well, there’s no doubt. “Christopher would be so proud of his kids,” says his longtime friend Jane Seymour. “They’re doing what he asked us all to do.” Jane adds, “He couldn’t breathe by himself, couldn’t move. Yet he was able to make a huge difference globally. That’s why he’s my hero.” While he never walked again, others have. “It’s because of Chris,” says Jane.
