Christina Aguilera, known for her soaring vocals, is set to release a new album entitled Bionic in March. The 29-year-old mother of Max – who will celebrate his second birthday next Tuesday – covers the February issue of Marie Claire and says her fourth studio album “is about the future” and credits her adorable tot for the uplifting and playful lyrics.
On how motherhood has inspired her music: “I had a really hard time being light before. I’d get a little weird about it being too cliché. My first record was very clichéd pop – what everyone else wanted. [My second album Stripped] inspired by a lot of pain. [My third, Back to Basics,] /still had some sort of relation to my past. [My new album] is just about the future – my son in my life, motivating me to want to play and have fun.”
On maturing in the entertainment industry: “In this crazy business, it’s so easy to build up a lot of walls and a lot of bitterness. And it’s just no way to be… “[I can now use softer tones] that maybe I’ve been afraid to do in the past, to allow myself to go to a place of ‘less singing.’ I’m more vulnerable and more strong at the same time.”
Christina will make her big-screen debut in the movie musical Burlesque which hits theaters in November.
Actress Lucy Lawless, 41, was spotted at LAX yesterday (January 4) with her two sons, Julius Robert Bay Tapert, 11, and Judah Miro Tapert, 8.

Lucy is best known for her role as the title character on the internationally renowned television series Xena: Warrior Princess which ran from 1995 to 2001.View Slideshow »»
Johnson & Johnson heiress Casey Johnson has died, leaving behind daughter Ava, whom she adopted from Kazakhstan in 2007.
The sad news was announced last night on Twitter by reality star Tila Tequila, who revealed in December that she and Casey were engaged.
“Everyone please pray 4 my Wifey Casey Johnson,” Tila wrote. “She has passed away. Thank u for all ur love and support but I will be offline to be w/ family.”
LA police later confirmed the report.
Model Jasmine Lennard tells Life & Style magazine today that she is “completely devastated” by her friend’s death and vows to be a big part of Ava’s life.
“Casey always made me promise if anything happened to her I would watch over her baby Ava, and with her family’s blessing I will honor that promise,” Jasmine says.
“I will see Ava as soon and as much as possible, but I think it’s very important to allow her family the time to grieve. I speak with Ava regularly on the telephone, but I don’t want her to be upset right now with the association of me and her mommy.”

One of the hottest products in educational toys this year are the Kimochis…toys with feelings inside. The perfect gift for toddlers (and their parents). With an already strong following, even celebrities like Angelina Jolie, Gwen Stefani and Jennifer Garner can’t resist! This brand has also been awarded the Creative Child Magazine 2009 Seal of Excellence and Best Vacation Products by Dr. Toy.
Kimochi (key.moch.ee) means feeling in Japanese. And that’s what this brand is all about. Feelings can be messy and, using the Kimochi characters, kids can get in touch with their own emotions in a fun and comfortable way while at the same time communicating what they’re feeling to their parents. These tactile, interactive toys come in a range of characters including Cloud, Huggtopus, Cat, Lovey, and Bug. Each interactive Kimochi has a pouch to store its feelings-felt cushions in bright colors with a facial expression on one side and the name of the emotion on the other side. Children learn by placing the cushion that best matches their feelings into their Kimochi and sharing the experience. The process calms, comforts and instills confidence.
