Lily Allen Wants To Be A Suburban Mom

Lily Allen Wants To Be A Suburban Mom

Lily Allen has a reputation for being a bit of a wild child, but the 24-year-old singer insists she can’t wait to settle down and be a “suburban mom.”

“People think I’m this super confident person who’s all for female empowerment but it’s not true,” Lily says. “I have every intention of becoming a suburban mum. I want to get married and have children. Being followed by the paparazzi is not a life I want.”

In 2008 the Smile singer suffered a miscarriage, which she opened up about last year: “I guess… it wasn’t to be. That’s all I can say… Maybe if I’d stayed pregnant and had the baby then things would have worked out between me and Ed [her ex-boyfriend Ed Simons of The Chemical Brothers]. I don’t know. You could drive yourself insane thinking about it.”

Lily is seen here performing at last weekend’s V Festival at Weston Park in Staffordshire.

Shauna Sand & Her Girls Hit The Spa

Shauna Sand & Her Girls Hit The Spa

Shauna Sand was photographed with her three daughters – Alexandra Lynne Lamas, 11, Victoria Lamas, 10, and Isabella Lorenza Lamas, 8 – at a nail salon getting manicures and pedicures in Los Angeles on Tuesday (August 25). The girls were spotted admiring their nails and reading fashion magazines while Shauna got her nails done.

The girls’ father is The Bold and The Beautiful star Lorenzo Lamas. Lamas and Sand divorced after six years of marriage when Sand allegedly was caught having an inappropriate sexual relationship with his then 18-year-old son, A.J.

Do you think it’s appropriate to take your young daughters to the spa?

Liev Schreiber On Dressing In Drag

Liev Schreiber On Dressing In Drag

Not one for predictability, Liev Schreiber decided to follow up his macho role in X-Men: Wolverine with something entirely different. In his new film, Taking Woodstock, the dad-of-two plays an ex-Marine turned drag queen named Vilma. The 41-year-old actor chatted with Parade magazine about his family, his film, and the challenge of working in stilettos.

On juggling career and kids: “I would love to do more. But with a two-year-old and a seven-month-old baby, it’s a hard time to leave them. You kind of want to stick around and see what happens, but I’m continuing to work on stuff.”

On living life in the public eye: “It gets harder, especially once you have kids because it can get really hard for them. We live in New York, which is a great place to have fun, but it’s really a challenge for Naomi [Watts] and me. You want the kids [sons Sasha, 2, and Kai, 8 months] to be able to go and walk outside into a green field in Central Park and run off and chase butterflies, but that’s not the reality. The paparazzi really make that difficult. If you want your kids to have some privacy and not be aware of being watched all the time, it takes a lot of work.”
