Jennifer Hudson “Would Like To Have At Least One More” Baby

New mom Jennifer Hudson, who welcomed her son David Daniel Otunga Jr. on August 10, is already thinking about adding to her family.

“Maybe one more. I’d like to have at least one more, a little girl,” she tells Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson. “I want a girl and then maybe another one. You know, one baby at a time.”

When asked how being a mother has changed her life, the 28-year-old singer/actress responded:

Oh wow, well it, of course, is the most amazing thing ever. But it’s hard to put into words because it’s something you have to experience to understand. I love every minute of it.

Michelle Obama Covers Glamour Magazine

Michelle Obama Covers Glamour Magazine

Michelle Obama is radiant in red on the cover of December’s “Women of the Year” issue of Glamour magazine. The First Lady, who is mom to girls Malia, 11, and Sasha, 8, sat down with Glamour‘s new columnist Katie Couric to talk about motherhood, the importance of positive role models – and why there’s more to life than being “cute.”

On life as the First Lady: “We’ve had some just amazing experiences traveling abroad, being able to introduce our children to the world…. I’m also humbled by the response and the receptiveness, not just here in America, but around the world. There’s a part of that warmth and enthusiasm and hope that is surprising and humbling.”

On her girls’ “blessed” life: “They are very blessed…. That’s why I think that mentoring is such a critical part of the role I can play in this position. I see how little bits of exposure and big bits of exposure really change my girls significantly, and I want that for more girls around the country and the world.”

Celebrity Guest Blogger: Gena Lee Nolin

In her second entry, Baywatch star Gena Lee Nolin addresses some of your comments from her first celebrity guest blog. This busy mom of four continues to share her own experience of postpartum depression after all three of her pregnancies, even stating that overcoming PPD was “one of the hardest things I’ve ever done.”

Please leave questions for Gena’s next blog in the comments.

    Hello M’s & D’s ~
I had such a great time writing my first blog, I’m eagerly at it again! Bear with me, as I want to answer some of the questions you had posted regarding PPD, stay at home dad’s, etc..

I want you to know getting over PPD was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. I call it the real success of my life, because at the time I was in such a horrible state, that I seriously didn’t know how to live or feel. It was impossible for me to do anything without getting the proper help I needed, which is why I’m saying — Get help! The best advice I can give and something I personally did was call my OBGYN. They will point you in the right direction and most likely have you come in to discuss medications or other directions you may want to take. This is a serious illness, so please for you, your loved ones & me… Reach out!

Sandra Bullock & Jesse James’ Custody Battle

Sandra Bullock & Jesse James' Custody Battle

It’s quite the headline-grabbing custody dispute: America’s Sweetheart takes on the porn star. The child in question is Sandra Bullock‘s stepdaughter: 5 1/2-year-old Sunny James, the daughter of Jesse James and his adult-film-star ex, Janine Lindemulder.

For most of last year, James and Bullock have had sole custody of Sunny, due primarily to the fact that Lindemulder has spent the past six months in prison for tax evasion. During an appearance on Good Morning America, the 40-year-old porn star said she has no plans of giving up parental rights: “What would give her the right to take away my daughter?” Lindemulder said of Bullock. “This is my daughter. I’m the best mother I can be.” While admitting that she’s “absolutely made horrific choices in the past,” Lindemulder stresses that her life is currently back on track.

Bullock and James beg to differ. In a letter to the judge at Lindemulder’s sentencing, the 45-year-old Miss Congeniality star raised concerns about Sunny’s safety and well being.

I am aware that Janine has claimed many times that my desire to have Sunny was because I could not have children of my own,” Bullock writes in the letter obtained by ABC News. “As difficult as that is for me to hear, and write, it couldn’t be farther from the truth.” Instead, Bullock claims that they “realized that due to the instability in Sunny’s life, bringing another child into the world at this time would not be in Sunny’s best interest.” Bullock continues, “I myself have stopped working like I used to in order to be here with Jesse and the kids because we are on constant ‘high alert.’ Never knowing what condition Janine will be in, and even more concerning, the condition Sunny will be in. While in Janine’s care, sometimes Sunny is left alone during the day, while her mother is asleep from drug use.”
