Ellen’s Favorite Baby Name: “Jumbo Shrimp Is Good”

Not only did Ellen DeGeneres and new wife Portia meet up with Gavin Rossdale and his 2-year-old, Kingston, as the two played on the beach on August 31, she also got to spend some time with newborn Zuma, too – and some maternal instincts made themselves known.

“I was holding Zuma this weekend. And all I kept doing was [singing] ‘All I want to do is a Zuma Zuma zoom and shake your rump.”

That’s not to say that Ellen hasn’t thought about kids before, though.

“We’ve thought of names, ironically … Jumbo Shrimp is good,” the talk show host tells Extra.

And, if they don’t end up having biological kids, Ellen wants to adopt – and she’s already got her eye on three candidates.

“I would adopt the Jonas Brothers,” she quipped. “They really are good kids. They appreciate everything still.”

The new season of Ellen debuts Monday with Michelle Obama as her guest.

Pink Would Rather Adopt

Singer Pink, who split with her husband of two years, Carey Hart, in February, spoke to Star magazine about having kids one day – but she doesn’t want biological ones, preferring instead to adopt.

“I don’t know if I need to have my own children. I rescue dogs so I would probably rescue kids. I feel like with global warming and all, why produce more. Foster parent. Adoption.”

Pink still remains close with her ex, helping him through the death of Carey’s brother, Anthony, in a motorcycle accident.

Brad Pitt: “Everyone’s great”

When Brad Pitt walked the red carpet at the Toronto Film Festival for his newest movie, Burn After Reading, lots of screaming fans greeted him – and so did some reporters, who were all eager to ask about Brad’s new twins, Knox and Vivienne, now almost two months old.

“All good; everyone’s healthy, and everyone’s great. Sleep is something we long for, but that’s alright, we’ll get it [soon].”

After answering questions, Brad signed autographs for the waiting fans – and even drew a mustache on a picture of friend and co-star George Clooney, who didn’t attend the event. Burn After Reading hits theaters September 12.

Julia Haworth Talks About Baby Sophia

Julia Haworth Talks About Baby Sophia

“I did wonder if I’d be affected by post-natal depression,” she admits. “No one’s immune, but I hoped I’d be OK… luckily I am.”

Welcoming her new daughter,

“I want to be the best mum in the world. She’s the centre of my life now. It was a long labour but she arrived safe and well and that’s the main thing. She was worth it! I’d go through every second again.”

Putting on baby weight,

“I put on weight,” she laughs. “I had a big bump!”

“When people said I was blooming and blossoming, I took it as a compliment. I loved being pregnant and I didn’t mind my body changing. As I got bigger I really celebrated it because it meant the baby was growing and was healthy.

“It was a good sign. I was never tempted to do a Demi Moore-type photo shoot though. That wasn’t for me.”

Going from a couple to a family,

“It felt the right time to start a family. We’d had fabulous holidays and enjoyed being Mr and Mrs and were ready to be parents. She was such a wanted baby.”
