Mark Wahlberg and wife Rhea Durham have confirmed that their fourth baby will be a girl!
“I’m having another girl,” Mark told PEOPLE at GQ’s The Gentleman’s Ball in New York on Wednesday (October 28). “So I’ll have two girls and two boys.”
However, it looks like two and two might be enough for the 38-year-old dad:
I’m the youngest of nine, and my dad has a few others. No, four is enough. We were all raised with a lot of love. But we didn’t get the kind of attention I think that we all needed. My parents had to provide to put food on the table. My mission in life is to raise my kids right. With all the success I’ve had in the world, if I fail at that, my life means nothing.
Expectant parents Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick were two of several famous faces at tonight’s Lakers vs Clippers game at the Staples Center in LA (October 28). Kourtney’s sister Kim was also spotted in the crowd.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star and her boyfriend are expecting their first child – a boy – at the end of the year.
Honoree Deborra-Lee Furness, who is the founder of the child advocacy organization Orphan Angels, had her biggest fan in the crowd at Monday night’s Worldwide Orphans Foundation Benefit Gala – her adoring husband Hugh Jackman.
The Wolverine star was quick to praise his wife of 13 years, telling OK!, “One of the highlights is honoring this beautiful, amazing woman who happens to be my wife, and she does amazing work and has done for many years all over the world.”
The couple, who are parents to kids Oscar, 9, and Ava, 4, seem to have a very happy and closeknit family. So what’s their secret?
“Make sure you have a date night just the two of you together, without the kids,” Hugh advises. “And don’t be afraid to tell your kids that you have no idea what you’re doing either.”
This weekend, of course, will be all about the little ones. The Aussie actor reveals that his daughter just recently decided what she wanted to be for Halloween: “I’ll help them get dressed. My daughter this morning decided she wanted to be a muffin. I said, ‘what flavor?’ and she said ‘chocolate chip.’” So cute!
It’s going to be another boy for Jenna and Bodhi Elfman!
A rep for the Accidentally on Purpose star confirmed the news today that the couple, who announced the pregnancy last month, are expecting a baby boy.
Earlier this week Jenna reported that their 2-year-old son Story Elias is already proving himself to be a great big brother:
I’m not sure if he gets the whole boy or girl thing exactly, but ‘baby’ he gets. He’s awesome. He gives my tummy a kiss and gives it a bottle and puts the blankey over my tummy and goes, ‘Baby, night-night.'”
Shedding 82 pounds has empowered The Biggest Loser contestant Abby Rike to begin healing after losing her husband and two children in a tragic car crash.
Dropping the weight, though, was easy compared to the nightmare she’s endured since a speeding driver crashed head-on into her family’s minivan, killing her husband Rick, 33, and their two children: Macy, 5, and Caleb, just 2½ weeks. In one of the most inspirational stories this year, Abby sat down with Life & Style to talk about her amazing journey from sorrow to success.
On drowning her grief in food: “My only real socialization was going out to eat. I had zero energy. I just felt like I had sludge in my veins. I was so lethargic.”
On learning to live through the grief: “You can’t bury your two children and the love of your life and think, Oh, I’m just going to be okay. You can’t help what happens to you, but you can choose how you respond to it. My journey was more about finding out where I fit into the world. For me it was truly about healing from the inside out.”
On how losing the weight was like shedding her grief: “Losing weight is kind of like shedding the sadness and hurt and emerging stronger. My life will matter again.”
On her life before the wreck in October 2006: “I wouldn’t have traded lives with any human on the planet because my life was the best.”
On her life after the accident: “After the wreck, all my roles were gone. I wasn’t a wife anymore. I wasn’t a mother anymore. I was broken and falling apart inside. There were pieces of shrapnel where my heart used to be — it was shattered.”
