With just a week to go until the big day, model mom-to-be Angie Everhart says she is ready to meet her baby boy, who she’s already named Kayden Bobby.
There’ll be no waiting around for her son’s arrival – due to a back injury, Angie has a c-section scheduled.
“Would I have preferred to deliver naturally? Of course,” she tells People. “But it’s not an option for me.”
Not only is Angie, 39, about to become a first-time-mom, but she’ll be doing it on her own. Saying that the baby’s father is a “good friend,” she reveals that she’ll be raising her son as a single mom. It’s sure to be a lot of work, but Angie seems to be taking it all in stride. Well… almost!
“I’m not nervous,” Angie insists, before adding, “The only time I got shaky was when my girlfriends gave me a stroller and I’m standing behind it thinking, ‘There’ll soon be a human in there that’s coming out of me!’ ”
For now she’s just anxious to meet her little guy, whose “safari rock ‘n roll” themed nursery – featuring a mural of a giraffe wearing headphones and a monkey playing a Van Halen guitar – is ready and waiting for him. “I was never one for pastels,” Angie laughingly admits.
Best of luck to Angie as her big day approaches!

Tindy, who was orphaned after his father died of AIDS and his mother went missing, fled Rwanda during the genocide and ended up, alone and homeless, in London. He met the Stranger Than Fiction star at a Christmas party for the Refugee Council in 2003, when he was 16 years old.
“He’s such a lovely, enchanting boy so I said, ‘Come and spend Christmas with us’. And he came for half the day,” Emma recalls. “Slowly, he became a sort of permanent fixture.”
Emma and her husband Greg Wise “informally adopted” him and he was soon living with them and their young daughter Gaia.
Now 22, Tindy said upon receiving his degree that he has “been from hell to heaven.” He plans to pursue a career as a human rights lawyer.

Leslie Mann and writer-director-producer hubby Judd Apatow rocked the red carpet with their two adorable daughters, Maude, 11, and Iris, 6, at the World Premiere of Funny People held at the ArcLight Theater in Hollywood on Monday (July 20). The Apatow sisters appear in dad’s latest flick alongside mom, just as they did in dad’s mega-hit Knocked Up (which also stars their mother). Leslie and Judd met on the set of the 1996 comedy The Cable Guy, which Apatow produced.
Starring alongside Leslie in Funny People is fellow celeb parent, Adam Sandler. Leslie recalls the first time she met Sadie and Sunny’s daddy,
“I actually met Adam before I met Judd,” the 37-year-old Knocked Up actress said. “He hit on me in a night club. He sent over a note on a napkin written in ketchup like ‘nice back’ or something like that. His friend brought it over and said, ‘Hey, want to come over and say hi to my friend?’ And I was like, ‘Why should I get up and go to his table? Why doesn’t he come to my table?’ It was like a stand-off. We didn’t talk to each other. Then, a couple of months later, I met Judd and we went to a birthday party and Adam was there so it was a little uncomfortable. It was awkward between Adam and I for the night. Ketchup man.”
Funny People, which Apatow directed, produced and wrote, opens on July 31 and stars Adam Sandler, Seth Rogen, Leslie Mann, Eric Bana and Jonah Hill. Can’t wait to see it!View Slideshow »»
Jennifer Lopez is currently working on her first film since the birth of her twins, Emme and Max, last February. In The Backup Plan, Jennifer plays a woman who gets artificially inseminated and coincidentally meets Mr. Right that same day. In a recent interview with Extra’s AJ Calloway, the talented 39-year-old dishes about babies, motherhood and getting back in shape after her pregnancy. She also discusses whether she and husband Marc Anthony are planning on expanding their family: “I would love to have more kids,” says Jennifer. “I don’t know if we will. I don’t know if that’s in the cards for us but we’ll see.”
On how it felt to go back to work after having the twins: “Staying home with the kids and watching everything they do. It’s fun… I can never sit totally still… [Filming] was actually perfect… I enjoyed the time with the babies.”
On losing the baby weight: “Just like everybody else, the first big amount of pounds comes off pretty quickly and then you have those last 10 or 20, 15 or 20 that just don’t want to go and you have to work really hard and I had to work really hard too. I had to diet and work out. I had to do a lot.”
On being able to bring her children to work with her: “They’ve been with me almost every day on the set. I don’t think [they realize what I do]. Once in awhile, they look at the monitor and go, ‘Mama.’ They’re just starting to talk.”
On how fast her children are growing up: “They’re more than walking now… They’re starting to talk. I put Max to bed yesterday… and I said, ‘I love you baby. I’ll see you tomorrow.’ And he was like, ‘I love you.’”
On her biggest lesson learned as a mother: “You just mature so quickly in such a deep way and you think life is short and you have to just go for things. You can’t be afraid to try or do your best….Just do it and that’s the example I want to set for my children as well. It’s like you can do anything. The only thing that ever holds us back is fear… It’s a useless emotion.”
