On the way off the set of his new movie State of Play in Los Angeles, actor Russell Crowe paused to give son Charlie, 5 next month, a kiss, while younger son Tennyson, 2, rested on comfortably on his shoulders. Tennyson also had fun playing with his dad’s long hair. Russell definitely isn’t shy about hugs and kisses in public!
State of Play is due out next year, as is Nottingham.

It’s been a busy year for actress Melissa Joan Hart, between potty-training her 2 1/2-year-old son Mason and welcoming her now 8-month-old, Braydon. Melissa credits the “constant workout” of raising two boys for staying fit post-pregnancy.
“You don’t have time to eat because you’re chasing them all the time!” she said Friday at the Jonas Brothers launch of 77 Kids by American Eagle in Los Angeles. “You kind of lift them in the car seat, out of the car seat, in the highchair, out of the highchair.”
Luckily, Mason has been a dream as a big brother, although he is “just getting to the stage where he kicks [Braydon] when he walks by him. But for the first eight months he’s been a dream.”

Even with the extra challenge of helping a 2-year-old adjust to a new sibling, things with Braydon have been “great,”
“Because he’s teething he sticks his tongue out all the time,” she says. “We took family photos yesterday for our Christmas card and he just kept sticking his tongue out. It was really bizarre, but cute.”
Melissa is, however, dealing with one small worry with her youngest,
“He’s been crawling or scooting for like months now, but he’s starting to stand and balance on his own,” says Hart. “I’m a little concerned that he’s skipping the crawling stage because I hear that they’re not good readers if they don’t crawl.”

Kingston Rossdale is only 2 years old, but according to dad Gavin, not only does he have “a better wardrobe than I have,” the singer can “definitely see a performer in him.”
But that’s not necessarily a good thing for Gavin, because it’s “such a worry — it’s such a weird world. I mean, he’s been photographed nonstop since he began. He had the first nine days off of his life – after that, it’s been full- [throttle],” he said. “It’s pretty intense. Who knows what’s going to happen?”
But things with 3-month-old Zuma are “going great,” Gavin says.
“He’s really easy, and it’s smooth sailing right now,” he told Us. “It’s good times. But I want to bottle them – to take them away with me, so I can sip this elixir of the fun.”
And as for how he keeps in touch with wife Gwen Stefani and his boys whilst he’s been working? Mostly they “travel together,” but when they can’t, it’s “phone calls. It’s rough leaving them all.”

Nicole Kidman is in Sydney today for her hometown premiere of the highly anticipated movie, Australia. She told Daily Mail that her role as a British aristocrat who falls in love with Hugh Jackman’s rugged cattleman character in this World War II flick is one of her greatest to date. “Rarely do you get to make a film that you’ve dreamed of doing since you were little, which is to be part of the Australian cinema. I haven’t really had a film that’s done that in a big way.”
The 41-year-old Australian actress also revealed she may take a hiatus from acting to have more children. “I’m in a place in my life where I’ve had some great opportunities, and I may just choose to have some more children,” said Nicole, who has a 4-month-old daughter with Keith Urban and two children Isabella, 15, and Connor, 13, from her marriage to Tom Cruise. She added, “There’s many things I want to do besides act.”
