Academy Award-winning actress Angelina Jolie says it will be “side by side learning” with her nearly 14-year-old son Maddox about his native Cambodia on her upcoming film, First they Killed My Father.
British model Emma Noble talked to The Sun about dealing with her son’s autism. Emma, 36, and seven-year-old Harry live in Cambridge and Harry’s dad is Emma’s ex-husband James Major, the son of former Prime Minister John Major. He was diagnosed with autism in 2003.
On losing his speech before he was diagnosed: “When he lost his speech it was terrible. It breaks my heart but his final word to go was ‘Mummy’. He was trying so hard but all he could get out was ‘Mu, Mu’. All the time I was desperately willing him on. That look of fear and confusion on his face will never leave me.”
Dealing with the diagnosis: “It was like slowly building the bricks back up which had just been knocked down. It was Harry who pulled me out of that despair. I started doing courses on autism and could then see tiny improvements – they meant everything to me.”
How he has progressed: “Harry really is amazing. He is like a little encyclopaedia now, loves birds and knows all there is to know about their habitat, diet, markings. He talks ten to the dozen now and is a real chatterbox. When I think how I felt after his diagnosis it is like another lifetime. I felt I really wanted to know why. I was very angry, very upset. It was a form of grieving, a bereavement. But that feeling dies – the desperate wanting to blame – and what takes over is the day-to-day living.”

Christina Aguilera has been spotted partying with her husband, Jordan Bratman, in Hollywood and most recently at a Las Vegas nightclub.
In defense of her late nights, Christina said,
“I spend all day with my son and once in a while if I want to go out and have a mommy-daddy night with my husband, I am more than allowed to do that.” Christina went on to say she is not sweating the criticism, “They never air [footage] of the paparazzi actually pulling up beside my husband and being like, ‘When is she going to leave the house? I have been trying to get a picture of her for weeks.” Everybody has an opinion and everybody sometimes wants to cause drama and be mean spirited, but it’s something that comes with what you do and I learned that very early on.”
The pop star also commented on her ever-changing body,
“It’s funny, me and my husband crack up about the bra sizes that we have been through since the pregnancy and delivery. It’s nuts to know what the female body’s capable of.” The mom of 4 month-old Max also commented on her weight loss, “It’s all mental. I am not someone that likes to work out. I would love to just relax or do something else you but I do because I feel good afterwards. It makes me feel good to see muscle definition and to just feel better health wise. I think it is so important to be able to do that so really it is all mentally pushing yourself towards your goal. I went through a whole course of weight training and cardio and boxing and things like that but it is also your food and making sure that you eat pretty clean throughout.”

A celebrity photographer has been accused of stalking Jamie Lynn Spears and her fiance, Casey Aldridge, in their small Mississippi town. Edwin W. Merino, 30, has been arrested and is scheduled to appear in court next week.
Authorities in Liberty, a small town in southwest Mississippi, said Merino wouldn’t leave the pregnant Spears and her fiance alone. In a phone interview on Wednesday, Merino denied the accusations and said he was about 200 feet away from the couple using a long lens when he was unjustly arrested at a gas station. Merino said he wasn’t getting any good pictures of the young couple and was preparing to leave the area,
“I’ve seen the young man Casey in pictures. I haven’t worked on them myself. The first time I got a good look at him was in court.”
Merino has been a celebrity photographer for five years. He was one of the paparazzi who caught Britney Spears without underwear.

Bridget Moynahan candidly reveals how she felt being pregnant without the support of the babydaddy, 30 year-old NFL star Tom Brady, to Harper’s Bazaar.
On Bringing Baby Jack home: “Everyone says, ‘You give birth, you go home, and you have this amazing baby and it’s just beautiful. And I walked in and I just started sobbing. All of a sudden, you have this newborn you have no training for. It’s frightening.”
On Motherhood 9 months later:“ “I have become that mother I used to dread. Every time he does something, you think he’s a genius.” She pauses, “He’s totally a genius.”
On finding herself alone at 3 months pregnant: “I’m not sure anyone — and I could be wrong in this — grows up thinking, I want to be a single mom,” Bridget was three months pregnant with Tom’s child but no longer in a relationship with him. She says, “There’s no reason why my son years down the line would need to read anything [personal] about his mother or his father.” Tom has since moved on with Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen, 27. Bridget is raising her son alone (though Brady spends time with Jack). “Going through that traumatic time of being heartbroken and then being pregnant turned my whole life upside down and inside out and just knocked the wind out of me. But I got so much out of that. It’s golden and it’s tough and it was f***’ed up. But now I have a child, and it’s the best thing in the world.”
On deciding to go it alone: “You really have to weigh out all the pros and cons and how it will fit into your life professionally, spiritually, and emotionally. Doing it on your own when it wasn’t expected comes with a lot of fears and anxieties. But I felt 100 percent that I could do this.”
On telling her parents: “When you’re suddenly pregnant and no one is standing by your side, even if you’re in your 30s, it’s a hard conversation. I’m a traditional girl, and I believe in marriage, and I just always thought that’s the way I’d be doing this. For a moment, it was hard for me to accept that this was the way I was going to have a family. I’ve had to recognize that there are just so many different options today.”
On enjoying her pregnancy: Bridget said she enjoyed her pregnancy and the weight she gained was “all baby. Being pregnant just felt so good. I was creating life on a daily basis, I felt beautiful, I felt sexy.”
On dating during her pregnancy: “I couldn’t believe how many times I was asked out! Not that I went out a lot. When I was faced with doing this on my own, I was worried about how it was going to affect my personal life. I was confident that it was not going to be an issue. And I was right. God, I’d love to have another one.”
On wanting a partner for her next pregnancy: “I think it’s important to have a strong male figure in my son’s life, and I want something equal to that in my life, as a partner, a lover, a friend. But I’d rather be alone [than] with somebody who doesn’t work. I don’t need that, and my son doesn’t need that.” Bridget says having Jack has drawn quality people into her life, “It’s brought higher-quality people into my life because whoever is going to be [with me] understands straight off the bat that it’s a package. If you just want to hang out and have some fun, there are a thousand other girls who are willing.”
