For kids in the US, school has been in session for at least a month – and, supposedly, it’s in session for Maddox Jolie-Pitt as well, even though he’s currently living in France!
Maddox, who at 7 would be a second-grader, now spends time with a tutor every day at Chateau Miraval, where the family have been staying since late May.
“There has recently been a tutor visiting the house,” an insider who lives in Correns, France, the village located near the chateau, says.
Not only is he supposedly being home schooled, he is also venturing out without mom and dad, the source says,
“He tags along with an assistant to help with shopping.”
In May 2007, Maddox was enrolled in Lycée Français, an international school with over 400 schools worldwide. The school’s primary language is French, which Angelina says Maddox “speaks better than any of us.” Maddox has attended branches located in both Prague and New York City. It’s unknown if he is still enrolled.

Liev Schreiber is in this month’s W magazine, and the actor talked a bit about his 13-month-old son with Naomi Watts, Alexander, whom they call Sasha. (Sasha is the Ukrainian nickname for Alexander.) The day of the interview, Liev was a little out of it because Sasha was up all night,
“Oh, my God, he didn’t sleep at all,” he says. “He’s really sick—I think he has a cold.”
Of course, Liev feels that, since he had his child, he tends to overreact a bit whenever something is wrong,
“I’ve never worried so much as I have since I had him,” he says of his son. “I was always kind of a worrier, but now I really worry a lot. Like, he’s been having trouble sleeping, and it turns out that he’s got that cold, you know? But I’m running in my head things like, He’s crying because he’s frustrated because I’m a bad father!” He pauses, a slightly zombielike expression on his face. “And then, I’m thinking, Oh, my God, he’s got all these deep issues already!”

Even though Liev himself “gets panic attacks in big crowds,” he and his wife still threw a huge party for Sasha’s first birthday.
“Well, Naomi threw it. She loves a big party,” he clarifies. “I’m terrible with big parties. It was like a land mine, I mean, a minefield, of children. There were little babies everywhere and adults—people I didn’t know. I was horrified. Terrified.”
The family also had a smaller celebration in Virgina, where Liev’s mom lives. That party wasn’t completely worry-free, though, and when Sasha got hands-on with his cake, squishing it with his hands, Liev says he sort of “freaked out.”
“Naomi was like, ‘That’s what’s supposed to happen.’ But I’m like, ‘This beautiful cake my mother bought! Don’t do that!’ Yeah, I got really uptight—I’m such a putz.”
Naomi and Liev are expecting their second child this winter.

Ellen Pompeo, 38, and husband, record producer, Chris Ivery, have been married nearly a year, and the couple are realizing that the time is quickly approaching for them to become parents,
Ellen tells Allure in the October issue,
“It’s a huge lifestyle change, and I take that very seriously. We enjoy our life so much. We go to Europe and sleep in. So when I have the baby, I won’t feel like we’ve missed any fun, reckless times together, like staying up all night drinking champagne and having sex until five in the morning and not having to get up until two in the afternoon. But I’ve got to get on it, because the clock is ticking.”
Fans of Ellen can tune into the season premiere of Grey’s Anatomy on September 25, at 9pm on ABC.
Kelly Ripa, Mark Consuelos, and their 11-year-old son, Michael Consuelos, were spotted in SoHo after attending Michael’s baseball game on Wednesday. Michael is the spitting image of Mark!

Famous multi-tasker, Jennifer Lopez, 39, already had her hands full with her career, (singer, dancer, actress, etc,) but now with mom-of-two on her resume, Jennifer is dishing to PEOPLE about what life is really like for her and husband, Marc Anthony.
“I did it for a long time but we started using a nanny a few weeks ago, [Most days] I get up early with them. Then when the nanny comes, I can take a shower and give them their breakfast. She’s there to help me get things done.”
On her favorite moments with Max and Emme, morning and bedtime, Lopez says,
“When they see you and have that big smile on their face – I live for that. And when I put them to bed at night and they melt in your arms. I give them a bottle and wind it down. I say, ‘It’s time for beddy-bye.’ I hold them and sing a little song. By the time you know it, they are asleep.”
On finding a balance between work and motherhood,
“It’s gonna be a learning experience. How will I do both? I try to take breaks from work. I’ll do a little work with the choreographers and then come back. I try to spend every free moment with the babies.
Lopez, who recently completed the Nautica Malibu Triathlon, also spoke of the experience, and her post-baby body,
“The triathlon really helped get me in better shape, and snapped me back into my body. I don’t weigh myself a lot. I still have 10 lbs., or so. [But] I don’t have any problems with it. I never felt I had to get rid of it.”
When asked about how she stays comfortable with her body image, Lopez says,
“We like to eat! I think you have to love yourself and indulge when you want to, as well as be happy and just have a healthy attitude towards it. Marc loves the way I look!”
Max and Emme will be 7 months on September, 22.
