Sharon Stone covers the February/March issue of AARP The Magazine and opens up for the first time ever about a decade of personal struggle, from the brain hemorrhage that nearly killed her to coping with a miscarriage and losing a custody battle over her now 11-year-old son Roan with ex-husband Phil Bronstein. Read on about how the single mom to two more sons she adopted in infancy — Laird, 6, and Quinn, 5 — says the hardships have strengthened her.
On her miscarriage and choosing to adopt: “The last time I lost the baby. I went into 36 hours of labor. While we were at the hospital, our adoption attorney called. I thought, ‘This is such a godsend. This is so right," she says. "I always thought I would adopt. Even when I was young, I used to look up how to adopt.”

Gods Behaving Badly star Sharon Stone was spotted treating her sweet son Quinn, 4, to an equally sweet treat today (January 9) after the pair finished running some errands in Los Angeles, Calif.
The 53-year-old actress - who is also mother to Roan, 11, and Laird, 6 - sported a pair of red lips, a blue headband, black frames, gray long sleeved shirt, cuffed denim and a pair of black army looking boots. Quinn - who was adorable as always - had big smiles as he walked with his mother and enjoyed his ice cream treat.

Sharon Stone and her sons Quinn, 4, and Laird, 6, went last minute shoe shopping in Beverly Hills, Calif. on Saturday (December 24). The boys ended up leaving the store holding black and red balloons. Their big brother Roan, 11, wasn't with them.
The actress, who is usually more casually dressed, wore a purple dress with black boots for the outing. A cross necklace was added to her outfit.

The 53-year-old Golden Globe winner - who was minus her oldest son Roan, 11 - seemed to enjoy helping her sweet sons peruse the available flavors but didn't seem to partake in the frozen fun herself.

The family-of-four- who was accompanied by an unidentified woman - seemed to enjoy their quality time together. Laird and Quinn even flashed the paps some toothy grins!
