Ten-year-old Brooklyn Beckham is learning the importance of giving back.

The oldest son of David and Victoria Beckham joined his mom this week on a visit to Clay County, Kentucky, one of the country's poorest counties. Entertainment Tonight reports that the pair made the trip with Save the Children, an organization that works in underprivileged communities to help kids succeed in school and learn healthy lifestyles.

"Seeing Save the Children's innovative programs in action, I know that we can begin to reverse the childhood poverty crisis," Victoria says. "I'm pleased Brooklyn is learning that by helping and joining other children he can play a role in making his generation the greatest yet."

Brooklyn played a game of soccer with the kids at Manchester Elementary School, participated in after-school reading programs and helped his mom hand out Adidas shoes and backpacks. The mother-son duo also visited homes in the area to provide nutrition and literacy resources to families.

"What I saw in Clay Country was the hope and promise inherent in every child," the former Spice Girl reports. "That's why we have to make sure every single child has a fair and equal start in life."

Victoria and her footballer hubby David Beckham are also parents to boys Romeo, 7, and Cruz, 4.

Victoria Beckham: Romeo Is "So Into Fashion"

Victoria Beckham: Romeo Is "So Into Fashion"

Ultra stylish mama Victoria Beckham - and her equally trendy hubby David Beckham - seem to have passed on their love of fashion to their middle son Romeo, 7.

The former Spice Girl says that Romeo is already showing his own distinct sense of style:

"We had dinner last night and Romeo wore a suit with a little shirt and tie. That's what he would wear every single day, he's so into fashion. The other boys are all about going to the beach; he's not interested. He's like, 'I want to go to work with mummy,' and he sits there going through the collection, feeling the fabrics, giving his opinion. He loves it."

Victoria, who strikes a glamorous pose on the cover of the December issue of the UK's Harper's Bazaar, reveals to the magazine that her trim shape is thanks to a lot of hard work: She hits the gym 7 days a week!

She says of her recent ads for Emporio Armani's underwear collection, “I didn’t want to rely on retouching. I wanted to look at those pictures in 20 years’ time and say ‘Wow, look - after three kids - I didn’t look bad.’”

Posh and Becks are also parents to Brooklyn, 10, and Cruz, 4.

Vicky's two other boys - Brooklyn Joseph, 10, and Cruz David, 4 - were also seen cheering on dad as they munched on a snack.

Posh Spice recently commented on their move to America:

You know, I love America. It’s such a positive country. When people say to me, ‘How long did it take for you to adjust? Poor you, it must’ve been really difficult’ – poor me? I’m living in Beverly Hills. I’m very, very lucky. I wake up every morning and I recognize that I’m blessed.”

Posh mom Victoria Beckham strikes a dramatic pose on the cover of the October issue of Elle magazine.

She may always seem to be perfectly poised, but the Spice Girl, who has boys Brooklyn, 10, Romeo, 7, and Cruz, 4, with her footballer husband David Beckham, insists even she has her insecurities.

“People think I’m a moody bitch. I do have my insecurities. Maybe that is why I look a little bit serious. The kind of person who’s going to stand on the red carpet and love the attention and have the big grin—I’m just not like that. I want to get in there, do what I’ve got to do, and get home to my kids.”

Birthday boy Romeo Beckham, 7, was joined by his mom and brothers Brooklyn, 10, and Cruz, 4 - and an armload of stuffed animals - for dinner this evening at Fogo De Chao in Beverly Hills. Such cute kids!

Victoria looked super chic as always in head-to-toe black as she escorted her brood of boys into the Brazilian steakhouse. Dad David Beckham wasn't spotted with the family tonight.

Asked recently whether she and her hubby plan to try for a daughter, the Spice Girl replied, “Everybody keeps asking me that and I think at some point, if I’m lucky enough, I’ll have another baby. That would be great - if I’m blessed enough. But right now, three boys… that’s a lot!”
