On the heels of her big brother's exciting baby news, Kate Hudson was spotted walking with her adorable 5 1/2-year-old son Ryder Robinson in New York City on Thursday (October 1).
Ryder joined his mama and her beau, Alex Rodriguez, as they went apartment hunting in the Big Apple today. Earlier this week, the couple were reportedly seen shopping for a new home in Malibu as well.

Look who was sitting front and center with the rest of the players’ wives at a recent New York Yankees game! Kate Hudson, who has been dating Yankees star Alex Rodriguez, seemed right at home with the ladies, even joining them afterwards for martinis at stadium eatery NYY Steak.
The 30-year-old Fools Gold star has been a fixture at both the home and away games since she and A-Rod hooked up, traveling to Miami and Toronto to cheer on the team. She even brought her parents Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell along to a recent game in New York.
"Sitting on the front row, Kate goes nuts when she watches him play," a source tells People. "Her excitement and cheering are infectious."
According to the new issue of In Touch, things between the pair, who met last November in Miami Beach, are getting very serious: The magazine quotes a friend of the actress as saying that Kate has already broached the topic of babies with her ballplayer beau!
According to a friend, parenthood brings the couple closer together; Kate has 5-year-old son Ryder with her ex Chris Robinson, while Alex is dad to daughters Natasha, 4, and Ella, 1, from his previous marriage.
"They have their young kids in common, and are really having fun,” says the source.

Kate, 30, showed off her signature cool, casual style in jeans and a summery white top. Though the Fool's Gold star always seems relaxed and easy-going, she recently admitted she can be a pretty strict mom.
"My parents were really hard on me and yet they are my favorite people in the world and we have the greatest relationship," she says. "That’s how I’d like to raise my child. You love them but you have to put your foot down."

Kate Hudson, her 5-year-old son Ryder Robinson, mother Goldie Hawn, stepfather Kurt Russell, brother Oliver Hudson his wife Erinn Bartlett and their 1 1/2-year-old son Wilder were seen getting coffee and returning to the family beach house in Malibu on Mother's Day.
We saw Kate vacationing with Oliver, Erinn and Wilder earlier this year.
