Hugh Jackman Gives Ava A Lift
Such a sweet pair! Wolverine star Hugh Jackman was photographed strolling with his adorable 4-year-old daughter Ava on his shoulders along with his mother Grace Watson by his side in New York City on Thursday (November 19).
Hugh and his mother were all smiles today, but this hasn't always been the case. Reportedly, when Hugh was just 8-years-old, Grace left home and sent a telegram saying she wasn't returning, leaving husband Christopher to raise her baby and his four older siblings.
Years later Hugh has acknowledged that undiagnosed post-partum depression created the crisis that took his mother away.
My mother was not well," Hugh said. "I always hoped she would come back, but I never blamed her for anything that went wrong. At the time, I was miserable and angry, and my brothers and I used to fight all the time."
Wow, what a story! It makes me love him even more!
Hugh Jackman & His Ice Cream Cutie
What a cute pair! Hugh Jackman was spotted picking up his 4-year-old daughter Ava from school before heading to get some ice cream in New York City on Tuesday (November 17).
The 41-year-old Wolverine star is passing on the "Sexiest Man Alive" crown to none other than Twilight star, Robert Pattinson.
Update: It was just announced that the "Sexiest Man Alive" is actually Johnny Depp! They tricked us!
So the question is, who's sexier - Hugh, Johnny or Robert?
Hugh Jackman Is A Playful Papa!
How sweet! Hugh Jackman and wife Deborra-Lee Furness picked up their daughter Ava from school and took her to a nearby playground on Monday (November 2). Hugh looked like he was having as much fun as his adorable 4-year-old! We just love this father-daughter duo!
Although we just saw Ava dressed up in a princess costume, the hunky 41-year-old Wolverine star recently said his daughter was planning to dress up as a muffin for Halloween: "My daughter this morning decided she wanted to be a muffin. I said, ‘what flavor?’ and she said ‘chocolate chip.’”
Hugh Jackman Praises His "Beautiful, Amazing" Wife
Honoree Deborra-Lee Furness, who is the founder of the child advocacy organization Orphan Angels, had her biggest fan in the crowd at Monday night's Worldwide Orphans Foundation Benefit Gala - her adoring husband Hugh Jackman.
The Wolverine star was quick to praise his wife of 13 years, telling OK!, “One of the highlights is honoring this beautiful, amazing woman who happens to be my wife, and she does amazing work and has done for many years all over the world."
The couple, who are parents to kids Oscar, 9, and Ava, 4, seem to have a very happy and closeknit family. So what's their secret?
“Make sure you have a date night just the two of you together, without the kids," Hugh advises. "And don’t be afraid to tell your kids that you have no idea what you’re doing either.”
This weekend, of course, will be all about the little ones. The Aussie actor reveals that his daughter just recently decided what she wanted to be for Halloween: "I’ll help them get dressed. My daughter this morning decided she wanted to be a muffin. I said, ‘what flavor?’ and she said ‘chocolate chip.’” So cute!

It was a Daddy-daughter day for Wolverine star Hugh Jackman and his adorable daughter Ava, 4. The pair seemed to manage to avoid the rain - and a few looming puddles - as they made their way through New York's West Village yesterday (October 27).
Hugh and his Broadway co-star Daniel Craig gave the shirts off their backs - literally - for a good cause this past weekend. The multi-talented duo auctioned off their autographed shirts after the matinee shows of A Steady Rain, earning $8,000 for the Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS campaign.

It looked like Hugh was saying to Ava, "you make my heart sing," as the animated father-daughter duo walked home from school. It also looked like they were having some serious giggles along their travels. How cute!
The 41-year-old Wolverine star and his wife, Deborra-Lee Furness are also parents to 9-year-old son, Oscar.

Hugh Jackman was spotted with his wife, Deborra-Lee Furness, and their 4-year-old daughter Ava shopping for Halloween decorations in New York City on Tuesday (October 20). The trio took the time to stop and talk to a fan as they walked (and scooted!) their way home.
In earlier Halloween preparations, we spotted the Jackman family of four - including 9-year-old Oscar - at Silverman's Country Market picking pumpkins in Easton, Connecticut last month. We hope to see the Jackman kids dressed up this year like we did last year!

Happy Birthday Hugh! Wolverine star Hugh Jackman, his wife Deborra-Lee Furness and their two children - Oscar, 9, and Ava, 4 - were seen returning to their apartment in New York City on Monday (October 12) after spending the day celebrating his 41st birthday.
Fourty-one looks great! It must be the daily yoga keeping Hugh looking so fit and young!
Hugh and 007 star Daniel Craig are currently starring in the Broadway play, Steady Rain. The 41-year-old father-of-two is set to play Logan/Wolverine again in the much-anticipated X-Men Origins: Wolverine 2 film, due to hit theaters in 2012.

Wolverine star Hugh Jackman and his wife Deborra-Lee Furness were seen out with their daughter Ava Jackman and a friend from school on Friday (October 9). The group stopped to pet a black dog along their travels.
Hugh and Deborra-Lee were just spotted with their adorable 4-year-old girl yesterday playing in the park.
The couple are also parents to 9-year-old son Oscar.
