Peter Facinelli’s Daughter Almost Broke His Nose!

According to ShowbizSpy, Peter Facinelli had a close call when one of his daughters nearly broke his nose!

“My daughter Fiona (3) headbutted me in the nose and it swelled up like Marlon Brando,” recalls Twilight’s Carlisle Cullen. “For a month I looked like. I thought I would have to get a nose job because I can’t play Carlisle as Brando!”

The injury happened while the father-daughter duo were watching a scary scene in the Spider-Man movie:

I went to close her eyes, but she likes the scary parts so she started fighting me saying, ‘I want see. I want to see.’ That’s when she headbutted me in the nose.

Thankfully he’s since recovered from his injuries and is no worse for the wear.

Recently the 36-year-old actor – who is also dad to Luca, 12, and Lola, 7 - revealed to PEOPLE how much his daughters love the Twilight series: “My 7-year-old would go to school with a Carlisle T-shirt. The 12-year-old underplays it a lot. But if the 7-year-old had a Carlisle lunchbox, she'd take it to school.”

The girls’ mother is Peter’s wife of nine years, Jennie Garth.

Peter Facinelli Dishes On His Biggest Fan

There is no doubt in the Facinelli/Garth family where loyalty lies- with dad of course, who plays Cullen family patriarch Carlisle Cullen in the Twilight series of films. Peter Facinelli was on hand for the second installment, New Moon's release on Friday and revealed to PEOPLE how much daughters, Luca, 12, Lola, 7, and Fiona, 3, enjoy Twilight, saying, "I hope it doesn't take them out of the movie that their dad is in it. I wouldn't want to ruin it every time I pop on the screen, like, 'There's dad!'"

He adds who his biggest fan truly is, "My 7-year-old would go to school with a Carlisle T-shirt. The 12-year-old underplays it a lot. But if the 7-year-old had a Carlisle lunchbox, she'd take it to school."

Facinelli, who also plays a doctor on the Showtime hit Nurse Jackie, recently wrote and completed a script for wife of nine-years, Jennie Garth to star in.

Peter Facinelli Pens TV Movie For Jennie Garth

Turns out Jennie Garth isn't the only writer in the family! The 37-year-old Beverly Hills, 90210 alum and her Twilight hunk hubby, Peter Facinelli, are teaming up for a new TV movie that Peter wrote.

Peter penned the script, which is being turned into a film, starring his wife, for America's Hallmark channel.

Jennie can't wait to star in his film. "He's a wonderful writer and we're finally getting one of his projects off the ground. I'm going to be starring in it, so that's exciting," Jennie says. "It's about an actor inside the Barney suit - a giant stuffed animated kids character - and he meets a woman who changes his perspective on things. It's a sweet love story with no big moral message; it's pure entertainment."

So will Dr. Cullen make an appearance in the film? "Peter really wants to be in it and I keep saying, 'No, we shouldn't work together!' It's still up in the air so we'll see. My husband is super busy and he's on fire right now. He's got two other projects that he wrote getting off the ground so my household is buzzing right now!"
