Jennifer Hudson and her adorable son David Daniel Otunga Jr., 2, were spotted as they got ready to board a flight out of Washington, D.C. on Sunday (January 15). The tot, who looked sleepy as he sat safely buckled into his stroller, was wearing a lion hat to fend off the cold winter weather while mom was wearing a puffy jacket that hid her newly-svelte body.
Jennifer is a spokesmodel for WeightWatechers and is featured in their current commercials where she shows off her drastic weight loss. In a recent interview, the Oscar-winner says not everyone is happy with her accomplishment

Already mom to her adorable 2-year-old son David, singer Jennifer Hudson admits she would love to add a baby girl to her brood.
"I want a little girl so bad. And [my son] walks around saying, 'I want a sister.' I want a little girl so bad!," the 27-year-old singer tells Access Hollywood, but adds, "But not right now. Give it about three more years."

Grammy and Academy Award winner Jennifer Hudson graces Good Housekeeping’s February cover, on newsstands January 10. In the interview, the singer/actress reveals the secrets to her 80-pound weight loss, and opens up about her 2-year-old son David.
On how her son inspired her to get healthy: "Everything changed the day my son, David Jr., was born. Motherhood brought tremendous responsibilities — but none greater than the obligation I felt to get healthy and be there for my son. David deserved to have a mama who could run after him without getting winded or getting tired, to have a role model who could teach him to make healthy food choices. I needed him to grow up with a mama who always would be there for him by caring enough about herself to take control of her health and her eating."

Jennifer Hudson is filming the Winnie Mandela biopic Winnie in South Africa and flew back to the US to see her 19-month-old son David - for just one day. The actress said she was motivated by the memory of her late mother, who she said would have done the same thing for her children.
"You know what? My momma would do it for me, so I needed to go and see about my child, and I hopped on that plane," the actress said. "That's things my mother would have done. Everything I do, I do from example, like, 'What she would have done for us.' "

American Idol alum Jennifer Hudson has a mini music lover on her hands! While promoting her new album, I Remember Me, the Oscar and Grammy award-winning singer revealed that her son, David Jr., 1, not only has his mom's ear for melodies, but he's also got a few moves.
"He's very musical. He just loves music overall, and he's into it," Hudson tells MTV News. "I feel like I had a little Michael Jackson.

Jennifer Hudson wowed the live and TV-watching audience of the Grammy Awards when she took part in a rousing tribute to Aretha Franklin. But during rehearsals for the show, the Oscar-winning actress was only concerned with impressing one person – son David, 1-1/2.
"Motherhood is the best," Jennifer told People, adding that the toddler was poised to follow in his mom's footsteps. "He is such a little entertainer."
