Actress Judy Reyes is loving motherhood! The Scrubs alum and her partner George Valencia welcomed first child Leila Rey in November 2009. Since then, Judy says she's "done a few jobs here and there," but has been taking some time off to enjoy her greatest role to date. "It's been been an absolute joy spending my time with her," Judy tells Celebrity Baby Scoop.
Set to star in the Lifetime movie The Pregnancy Project, Judy opens up to Celebrity Baby Scoop about her return to the small screen, her "strong-willed" 2-year-old daughter, and the joys of motherhood: "It really has enriched my life."

It's a girl for Judy Reyes and her partner George Valencia, Life & Style reports.
The 42-year-old Scrubs star gave birth to Leila Rey Valencia on Friday, November 27 at 7:11 p.m. Leila weighed in at 6 pounds, 7 ounces and was 19 inches long.
Judy's rep, Patrick McCarthy, says that mom and baby are doing well.
Lelia is absolutely beautiful. Both mom and baby are very happy."
Leila is the first child for the happy couple.

Judy Reyes: Babies Have Always Scared Me

Her daughter's November 30 due date is finally here, but Scrubs star Judy Reyes confesses that she doesn't feel entirely prepared for motherhood, telling Pregnancy magazine, "It frightens me, but I’m getting ready for it… Other than that, I don’t know s--t.”
The 42-year-old mom-to-be is the first to admit that she's never been a natural around babies, but she says that's changed somewhat as she's been awaiting the arrival of her first child.
“I’ve never been a baby person; babies always scared the living s--t out of me. I’ve always been afraid to drop them or hurt them,” Judy says, before adding, “Now every little [baby] thing I see, I’m like, ‘Ooh, my God!’ I can’t stop. In other words, I drank the Kool-Aid.”

Mom-to-be Judy Reyes had her baby shower at Santa Monica's Casa Del Mar hotel on Sunday (November 1). The 42-year-old expectant mom talked to Life & Style about being excited to welcome her baby girl with boyfriend George Valencia.
Just two weeks ago, I started getting into the physically uncomfortable and emotional oh-my-gosh-she's-coming place. I live in the Hollywood Hills, and I pass the Wonderland Avenue School with all the moms and dads bringing their little girls to school in their little outfits. That's going to be me! I wouldn't know what to do with a boy. Dressing her is going to be a lot of fun!"
During the shower on Sunday, Judy confirmed that her Scrubs co-star Sarah Chalke, 33, is having a boy!

An expectant Judy Reyes was photographed at the 24th Annual Imagen Awards held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Friday (August 21st). Reyes and her boyfriend George Valencia are expecting their first child in November 2009.
The 41-year-old actress, best known for playing Carla in the hit TV show Scrubs, has also appeared in the TV series Oz and the Lifetime movie Little Girl Lost: The Delimar Vera Story.

It’s going to be a girl for Scrubs star Judy Reyes and her boyfriend George Valencia. The couple have learned that they are expecting a daughter!
Judy, 41, reveals that her mother’s intuition was right, saying, "I just had a feeling that it was a girl, and it is!"
Due in November, the mom-to-be is happy to report that apart from “a little morning sickness in the first trimester,” she’s been blessed with a fairly easy pregnancy: “I’m enjoying it,” she says.
The baby girl will be the first for Judy and George.
