Cole Hamels & Heidi Strobel Welcome Son Caleb Michael

According to MLB.com, Cole Hamels and wife, Survivor alum Heidi Strobel, have welcomed their second child – a baby boy!
Caleb Michael was born at 9am on Friday (October 9) at Lankenau Hospital in North Philadelphia.
Proud dad Cole learned of his wife’s labor at 4pm Thursday afternoon when the Phillies’ traveling secretary gave him a message from Heidi which read: “I’m in the hospital going into labor. Could you please tell Cole as soon as he’s done pitching?”
The couple, who announced in July that they were expecting a boy, have been married since 2006.

Philadelphia Phillies star Cole Hamels and wife Heidi Strobel have learned they are expecting a boy. The former Survivor contestant is 5 1/2 months pregnant and due this fall. “We’re excited,” says Cole, 25. “Hopefully we’ll be headed for the World Series when it happens.”
The couple originally planned to travel to Ethiopia in December to adopt a little girl, a plan which has now been delayed for six to nine months.
"We still plan on adopting,” says the former World Series MVP. “[The pregnancy] is something we were planning on doing anyway. We’re going to adopt a girl, and it will be great for her to grow up with a brother. They’ll be like twins.”
Cole and Heidi have been married since 2006.
