Daniel Baldwin "Sad" After DHS Takes Daughters From Ex

A week after his estranged wife, Joanne, filed for divorce in the state of Oregon, petitioning the court for sole custody of daughters Avis, 3, and Finley, 2, Daniel Baldwin confirms that the Department of Human Services has removed the girls from their mother's care.
"The children were removed from Joanne's home and given to a family friend and are in this friend's custody until I return from filming in Texas Thursday night," the actor confirmed in a statement released to E! News yesterday (October 20).

PEOPLE reports exclusively that Daniel Baldwin and wife Joanne Smith have welcomed a baby girl!
Finley Rae Martineau Baldwin was born at 9:35 a.m. Friday, August 7th at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. The little bundle weighed in at 7lbs. 10oz. and measured 20 ½ inches in length.
Their newest addition joins 19-month-old Avis Ann, who “is excited to meet her new little sister,” says Daniel’s rep.
Joanne and Daniel, who have been married for two years, met when the 48-year-old Homicide: Life On The Streets star was in a Malibu rehab facility. Joanne was working there as a chef at the time.
Baby Finley also joins Daniel’s three children from previous relationships: Atticus, 13, Alexandra, 18, and Kahlea, 25.
