The celebrities came out for the Screen Actor's Guild awards on Sunday night (January 29) and of course much of the attention was focused on what they were wearing. One of the more interesting accessories was something that few people saw – Kyra Sedgwick was sporting a new tattoo that was barely noticeable in the cutout of her stunning red Emilio Pucci dress.
"It's a family tattoo," the Closer actress told E! "It's all our initials K, K, S and T." She was referring to her husband of 23-years, Kevin Bacon and their two kids – son Travis, 22 and daughter Sosie, 19.

Actor Kevin Bacon and his wife, Kyra Sedgwick, spent New Year’s Eve on a beach in Kuaui, Hawaii with their 19-year-old daughter, Sosie.
The 53-year-old X-Men: First Class star splashed around in the surf with his family before drying off and getting dressed. Kyra got a little exercise in, running up and down the shore, while Sosie sunbathed on the sand.

With her TNT show The Closer now in its 7th and final season, actress Kyra Sedgwick says it's a bittersweet ending. The mom-of-two - she and Kevin Bacon have kids Travis, 22, and Sosie, 19 - talks to Parade magazine about how she plans to fill her time: With date nights, knitting and (she hopes!) grandkids.
On her new found free time: "I look forward to grandchildren because I think that will be my hobby, but that’s probably not going to happen for a long time. Hopefully, I’ll take up knitting or something when I’m not working."

Kyra Sedgwick Faces The Empty Nest

Kyra Sedgwick covers the July/August issue of More. The 44-year-old mother of two - son Travis, 21, and daughter Sosie, 18 - talks about coming to terms with her weight and dishes on her kids with husband of 22 years, Kevin Bacon.
On conceiving Travis on their honeymoon: "We were like, Let's just not use birth control. I didn't think it was going to happen so fast. I got pregnant in two weeks."
On becoming an empty-nester: "It's like, you've had this job forever, it's the job you always wanted to do, and you were pretty good at it. Then you get fired for no reason!"
On struggling with her weight: "Food has never been easy for me," she says and adds that the catalyst was a role in the 1985 film War and Love, for which she was required to lose 20 pounds to play a Holocaust survivor. "I came back from that, and it triggered something. I ate everything in sight. My weight went up and then too far down... I'm so grateful that I don't get on a scale because it's never going to be the right number."

Moms Hit The SAGs Red Carpet

Mom-to-be Paula Patton was aglow on the red carpet at last night's Screen Actor's Guild awards in Los Angeles, California. The Precious star, who is expecting her first child with hubby Robin Thicke, dressed up her bump in a white strapless tulle gown.
White was a hot color among the A-list moms at the star-studded event: Kate Hudson turned heads in a backless white Pucci gown and mom-of-two Kyra Sedgewick was gorgeous in Vera Wang. Up in the Air star Vera Farmiga opted for an off-white J. Mendel and Toni Collette shone in an empire-waist gown with gold details.
The always beautiful Mariska Hargitay injected some color into the evening with her magenta Vera Wang gown as did funny mom Tina Fey in a purple satin knee-length dress and Juliana Margulies in a blue velvet Narciso Rodriguez gown.

Kyra Sedgwick On Life As A Long Distance Mom

A happy marriage, a close-knit family, a successful career: Kyra Sedgwick seems to have it all. The star of The Closer, who celebrates her 44th birthday today, is featured on the cover of the current issue of Ladies' Home Journal. In a candid interview, Kyra opens about her career, her husband, and her new life as a long distance mom.
With their 21st wedding anniversary just around the corner, Kyra and Kevin Bacon have one of Hollywood's longest and seemingly happiest marriages. Earlier this year the actor revealed their secret to success, saying, "You've got to keep the fights clean and the sex dirty." Kyra says she knew immediately that he was "the one."
"When I met Kevin I thought, This feels like home," she says. "I don't know how at 22 I went, 'Yeah, that's the guy,' and was actually right about it. Usually you pick someone who has all the worst qualities of your father or something. Someone was watching over me when I picked Kevin, because I couldn't have been that smart."

Kevin Bacon, wife Kyra Sedgwick and their 17-year-old daughter Sosie Ruth Bacon were photographed in their best digs at the 2009 White House Correspondents' Association Dinner at the Washington Hilton, Washington DC.
The controversial evening proved to be a night of great humor. The 44th and current President of the United States, Barack Obama, joked, "Sasha and Malia aren't here tonight because they're grounded. You can't just take Air Force One on a joyride to Manhattan."
