Robert Downey Jr. cradled his wife, Susan Downey's, baby bump at the 25th American Cinematheque Award ceremony in Beverly Hills on Friday (October 14), which honored the Iron Man star. Also in attendance were new parents Guy Ritchie and Jacqui Ainsley, Jodie Foster and Mel Gibson.
Gibson, 55, was invited onstage to present Downey Jr., 46, with the prestigious award. Downey Jr. took his time onstage to ask Hollywood to forgive his fellow actor. "Unless you are without sin -- and if you are, you are in the wrong f**king industry -- you should forgive him and let him work," Downey Jr. said.
Mel Gibson & Oksana Grigorieva Reach Settlement Over Lucia

After over a year, Mel Gibson and ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva have finally reached a custody agreement over their daughter, Lucia.
Access Hollywood reports that Los Angeles Superior Court officials released a statement Friday (August 26) evening, announcing that the couple has settled. Details of the custody arrangement will be handled in a closed session, with the financial portion being determined during the August 31st hearing.

Beaver star Mel Gibson was spotted with his adorable 1 1/2-year-old daughter Lucia in Malibu, Calif. on Saturday (June 18). The father-daughter duo were joined by the nanny and one of Mel's older children, son Thomas.
Following Mel's highly publicized falling out with Lucia's mother Oksana Grigorieva, the 55-year-old actor was placed on probation after entering a plea of no contest to a battery charge. In November 2010, Grigorieva opened up about the abuse she endured from the Lethal Weapon star, saying: “I knew this is not the man who I fell in love with. This is his illness speaking because this profanity, this anger, this rage, I mean, unforgivable... I wanted my mother to be able to prove that if I'm dead, that this is who did it.”

Maybe things are looking up for Mel Gibson. After finally concluding a long-running court battle with ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva on Friday (March 11), the actor welcomed his third grandchild when his daughter Hannah gave birth to a baby boy this weekend.
"He was overwhelmed with emotion," a friend of the Beaver actor said. "He gets that way around babies...He was overjoyed."

It looks as though drama will continue to spiral around Oksana Grigorieva and Mel Gibson. RadarOnline.com reports that Oksana – who is mom to 11-month-old baby Lucia with the 54-year-old Braveheart star – has claimed that Mel “dropped” their daughter after leaving her alone to go outside for a cigarette.
This claim was made on August 2, during the Russian musician’s deposition during the couple’s court battle for custody. Oksana told to Mel’s lawyers that her then 2-month-old daughter had to be treated by a doctor “because Mel dropped her and she needed to be seen by [a] chiropractor.”

An agreement signed by both Mel Gibson and his ex Oksana Grigorieva in May gives the Braveheart star joint custody of their 10-month-old daughter Lucia.
The document stipulates that Mel has joint legal custody of the child with liberal unsupervised visitation. When Lucia is with her mom the nanny is to organize Skype calls between the actor and his daughter. Furthermore, when Lucia turns 3 Mel and Oksana will share physical custody 50/50.
