Two and a Half Men star Jon Cryer and wife Lisa Joyner quietly adopted a daughter last year. The couple, who have been married since 2007 are now parents to 9-month-old Daisy and in an interview with KTLA via RadarOnline they opened up about their daughter and the custody battle Cryer is currently facing.

Joyner said of their daughter, “Daisy is amazing, she is almost nine months. She is sunshine in little human form and her brother couldn’t be happier.” Touching on why the couple chose to adopt, Joyner added that it was “not a trend thing.”

Along with 9-month-old Daisy, Cryer has a son, Charlie from his previous marriage to Sarah Trigger. The two have made headlines recently for a custody dispute. Charlie is reportedly staying with Cryer and Joyner, while Trigger is still receiving child support.

Of the public battle, Cryer added, “There are efforts you have to take to keep things private when you are in show business. You just sort of have to let people know what willingness you want so you can set some limits.”
