When Ergobaby sent me the Organic Dark Chocolate Ergo for review I was beyond excited to try it out! Over the years I have heard nothing but positive feedback on this carrier and now after testing it out myself I can completely understand what all the fuss is about! As a babywearing mother I've tried pretty much everything. Ring slings, structured carriers, pouches and mei tais; you name it I've tried it! With most of the carriers I have tried in the past, pressure and stress build in my shoulders and neck after prolonged periods of "backpacking" my baby. My favourite feature of this carrier is the attached sleeping hood which supports my daughters head when she ends up falling asleep. This gives complete piece of mind and eliminates the worry of whether or not your child's head is falling from side to side while napping on your back . It is also a great way to shade smaller babies from the sun during outings or hikes.

You can wear your baby on your hip, back or front depending on preference and every feature on this carrier is adjustable so it can be used by any member in your family regardless of weight or size.

If you have a smaller child, the infant insert is a new design with padded cushioning intended to support the natural curvature of a baby's developing spine. It is sold separetely and is to be used from newborns to 4-5 month old children. Sucking pads, weather covers, front pouches and changing pads are also available.
