Candace Cameron Bure On The Joys Of Motherhood

Actress and author Candace Cameron Bure – aka DJ Tanner – has a very full house of her own these days. The Make It or Break It star recently chatted to Parade magazine about the happy home life she shares with her husband Valeri Bure and their three kids Natasha, 12, Lev, 11, and Maksim, 9.

On the most gratifying part of motherhood: "It’s the love that my kids will pour out on me. You don’t realize until you have your own child how much you can love someone. You really don’t have any idea and then it is the most unbelievable feeling when your children on their own will come up to you and say 'Mommy, I love you' or give you a kiss or a hug and want to spend time with you. It’s just unbelievable."

Candace Cameron Bure On Healthy Living, Discussing The "Birds & The Bees" With Her Kids

Candace Cameron Bure, well known for playing the beloved character D.J. Tanner on Full House, is all grown up and continuing to entertain TV audiences in Make It Or Break It. The busy mom to three kids - Natasha, 12 on Sunday, Lev, 10 and Maks, 8 - opened up to Celebrity Baby Scoop about the Juice Box birthday, how she balances motherhood and her career, some tips on maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and tackling some of the 'tough' topics like "the birds and the bees" with her three preteens.

CBS: Tell us about the Juice Box Anniversary.

CCB: "Juice box is celebrating their 30th birthday! This is a product that I loved as a kid, but it's even more relevant and important to me as a mom because a healthy lifestyle is important for me to teach my children. The juice box is the perfect, easy, convenient, go-to beverage option for my kids. Because of the special packaging of the tetra box, it doesn't need or add preservatives and it can sustain a 12-month shelf life without it being refrigerated. So this is really the perfect beverage option for lunch boxes, or thown into a hockey bag or tennis bag. I know that my kids love juice and I know that it's healthy for them. It's also recyclable so it's good for the environment."

Candace Cameron Bure Talks Family & Facebook

Candace Cameron Bure and her gorgeous family are featured in the June/July 2010 issue of Parents Canada magazine. The former Full House star opens up about her happy home life with her husband Valeri Bure and their kids Natasha, 11, Lev, 10 and Maksim, 8, and shares her thoughts on parenting in today's technology-laden world.

On her cell-phone free kids: "Almost all of my daughter’s friends have one. So I hear it almost everyday, 'But mom, I’m the only one left in school that doesn’t have my own cell phone.' I’m like, 'Great! Good for all of them.' It doesn’t convince me to give her a cell phone. Sure, a phone can be convenient at times. We have a spare cell phone with a number that is not used very often. So, if our kids are somewhere that we feel they need to have a phone, I can give them that phone. But really, it doesn’t happen often. My son is in the fourth grade and I would say that 50 percent of the kids in his class have their own cell phone. Fourth grade. Nine- and ten-year-olds. They have iPhones!"

Candace Cameron Says Motherhood Is "Amazing"

Mom-of-three Candace Cameron Bure loves a full house, but she insists that she and her husband Valeri Buri won't be having any more kids.

“We’re done. Would I like more? Sure. I would love more. But we’re finished," she tells OK! "As my husband would say, when we travel and rent a car, we can all fit in a normal-sized car and not have to get an SUV for five seats. It’s all about the car."

It sounds as though the 33-year-old mom is kept busy enough as it is thanks to her kids Natasha, 11, Lev, 10 and Maksim, 8. Saying that "sports and school are the priorities," Candace reveals that she and Valeri are very hands-on parents.
