Luke Perry Supports His School

Dylan McKay fights the power! Luke Perry channeled his bad boy character from the classic teen hit Beverly Hills, 90210 on Tuesday (May 24). The hunky actor and his son Jack, 14 next month, joined protesters outside his kids' school in Los Angeles during a 'California Save Our Schools' rally.
"We have a school system where 30 percent of the students are drop outs,” Perry said. “One in eight students in this country is educated in California. We spend $37,000 on each inmate in this state and $3,000 on each student. What’s wrong with that math?”

Here's a father-daughter duo we rarely see! Former Beverly Hills, 90210 star, Luke Perry, took his gorgeous 9-year-old daughter Sophie for a walk in Los Angeles on Sunday (December 20). Luke and his ex-wife, Rachel "Minnie" Sharp, are also parents to 12-year-old son, Jack.
Luke has said of his role on Beverly Hills, 90210 as bad boy Dylan McKay, “I’m going to be linked with him until I die, but that’s actually just fine. I created Dylan McKay. He’s mine.” Perry has also commented on his loyalty to the late Aaron Spelling: “The difference between CW bringing something back and Aaron Spelling doing something back is significant. And I cannot do it without Aaron.”
