In an interview on The Wendy Williams Show airing May 11, House star Lisa Edelstein opens up about the prospect of being single and child-less at almost 44. The actress shared her thoughts with Wendy via TV Squad,

As a woman, I don't think you can avoid ... coming to terms with the end of your fertility in your life. I think there's just so much pressure ... to do certain things as a woman that if you don't end up doing them, you feel like you've somehow failed when, actually, you just might have been acting naturally for you."

In the past, the actress has said that she is comfortable with not having children, "For me, just being how old I am, I know I don't want to be a single mom. I really would rather make it a two-person job. But I've also come to terms with not being a mother at all. I'm actually really good with either direction that my life can take as being a valid experience."
