Katie Couric graces the cover of the April issue of Prevention looking fab in a blue dress. In the interview - the 55-year-old former Today Show host talks about her daughters Ellie, 20, and Carrie, 16, staying fit and her new show Katie.
On if her daughters tweet as much as she does: "No, they don’t. In fact, they get mortified when I do it. I think it’s hard for them sometimes to have a mother who is a public figure and that people sometimes say not very complimentary things about. Carrie follows me, and I think Ellie does too—a lot of their friends follow me, so it’s sort of fun. But they’re not super into tweeting. They do enjoy Facebook, that’s for sure."

Katie Couric seems to have done it all, but there's one thing she's still anxious to conquer. "My secret fantasy, sadly, is to be on Dancing With the Stars," she tells UsMagazine.com.
But the CBS Evening News anchor, who has two daughters – Ellie, 19 and Carrie, 14, with late husband Jay Monahan – says other than DWTS she isn't a big fan of reality shows. "My daughter watches Keeping Up with the Kardashians," she says.
"I really don't understand the whole genre to be honest with you," Katie admits. "You know, God love them if they're willing to invite people into every aspect of their personal life."
So, is she serious, should DWTS come calling? "I don't know, those skimpy outfits!" she laughs. And then adds, "Seriously, it'd be like, 'Paging Jenny Craig, stat!'"
