The new parents left their 6-week-old daughter Blue Ivy at home with the 'sitter and caught 'Linsanity' at the New York Knicks game at Madison Square Garden on Monday (February 20). The megastar couple were watching the NBA's newest phenom, Jeremy Lin, as he played against Jay-Z's New Jersey Nets (the new dad is part owner).

New parents, Beyoncé Knowles and Jay-Z, have been the talk of the town for weeks since the birth of their baby girl, Blue Ivy, born on January 7. They surprised the world on Friday (February 10) by posting the first public photos of the already-famous babe on a new Tumblr site.
Us Weekly caught up with a pal of Sasha Fierce, celebrity artist June Ambrose, on Saturday and chatted about the introduction of baby Blue. "B really really thought about this," Ambrose shares. "And she really wanted to do it this way."

Reps for Beyoncé and Jay-Z may have declined to comment about the rumor that the couple asked Oprah Winfrey to serve as godmother to their newborn daughter, Blue Ivy, but someone is talking.... Oprah's BFF Gayle King. And according to Gayle, if Ms. Winfrey was bestowed the honor, she doesn't know it yet!
"It's absolutely not true that she's the godmother," King explained Friday (January 27) on CBS This Morning.

Jay-Z's daughter Blue Ivy is only a week old and she's already making a big influence on the rapper's life. The Empire State Of Mind hitmaker has released a poem stating that he's no longer using the word "bitch" in his songs.
He writes: "Before I got in the game, made a change, and got rich / I didn't think hard about using the word bitch. I rapped, I flipped it, I sold it, I lived it / now with my daughter in this world I curse those that give it."

Beyoncé and husband Jay-Z welcomed daughter Blue Ivy Carter this past weekend, and it looks like the newborn went home to some pretty fancy sleeping quarters. A source tells Us Weekly that Beyoncé purchased a $3500 Lucite crib at an NYC boutique back in November.
The source adds that the Grammy-winner was accompanied by her sister Solange Knowles and mom Tina when she made the purchase. Previously it was reported that Beyoncé and Jay-Z were building a 2,200 square foot nursery in their Tribeca apartment.

Rapper Jay-Z, 42 - who welcomed his new pink bundle on Saturday (January 7) with superstar wife Beyoncé, 30 - recorded his new daughter's sweet cries on his latest track titled Glory feat. B.I.C. The song has recently been posted to the overjoyed father's website Life + Times.
