Aoki Lee Simmons posed for pics at yesterday's Ovarian Cancer Research Fund's 12th annual Super Saturday in New York alongside her sister Ming Lee, dad Russell Simmons and his girlfriend, model Julie Henderson.

While Ming, 9 1/2, seemed a bit camera shy, Aoki, who turns 7 this month, happily hammed it up for the photographers. She looks like quite the little performer!

Ming and Aoki's mom is Russell's ex, Phat Fashions Director Kimora Lee Simmons.

In the midst of Hollywood's many nasty splits, Kimora Lee Simmons and Russell Simmons have managed to keep the breakup of their 7-year marriage remarkably amicable.

So what's their secret?

"You just learn to be a little bit accepting and promote tolerance and act and be tolerant yourself. Allow each other a little freedom, and faith,” Russell tells OK!, adding, "You smile no matter what happens."

The music mogul says he's "inspired" by what a great job Kimora does with their girls Ming Lee, 9, and Aoki, 6. As proof, he tells a story about his daughter's recent reaction to a certain unnamed celebrity who "runs around" a lot:

“...There was some celebrity who was in the Hamptons and I just missed her. And they asked me, ‘Did I want to see her?’ and I said ‘I’ll catch her later.’ They said, ‘Well, your daughter would like to see her.’ And she’s just one of those celebrities who runs around. They said ‘Well your daughter would love to see her.’ I said [to Ming Lee], ‘Would you like to see [this celebrity]?’ And she said ‘No, no, I think she makes bad choices.’ That’s what Ming Lee told me. That reminded me that their mother has been doing such a good job with them because she knows what’s a good choice already.”

Kimora, 34, became a mom for the third time just last week. The Baby Phat designer and her new love Djimon Hounsou welcomed a son, whose name has yet to be released, on Sunday.

Update: Russell Simmons' publicist just sent this open letter to Perez Hilton regarding the following custody agreement between the hip hop mogul and Kimora Lee.

According to legal papers that The Insider has obtained, Kimora Lee Simmons has been granted sole legal and physical custody of her two young daughters, Ming, 8, and Aoki, 5. Father Russell Simmons has been granted visitation with the girls for one week every eighth week with additional summer vacation and holiday time. Kimora Lee has been granted the legal authority to make all decisions regarding their daughters' health, education and welfare.

Russell is legally responsible to pay Kimora Lee $40,000 per month for both children. Child support will be paid until each girl reaches the age of 19 1/2, becomes emancipated, dies, marries, becomes self-supporting, no longer lives with Kimora, joins the armed forces or if the court later orders otherwise. He must also purchase or lease a new car that is valued at no less than $60,000 for the use and benefit of his daughters. That car must be replaced every 24 months.
