From MTV host, to actress, to Weight Watchers pitchwoman and finally, to her current role as one of the most outspoken autism activists, Jenny McCarthy still manages to seem “refreshingly real and unjaded”. The mother of one, 7-year-old Evan Asher, who was diagnosed with autism at 2 ½, recently sat down with Cookie to discuss her role as a mother of an autistic child, the controversy of vaccinations and her relationship with actor Jim Carrey.

Jenny McCarthy and her 7-year-old son Evan Asher were seen going for a beach stroll in Malibu on Saturday (July 11).

The 36-year-old former Playboy model is about to become a step-grandmother! Jenny's stepdaughter, Jane Carrey, 21, is expecting her first child. Jenny's partner, Jim Carrey, is "very excited," and went on to say that "Jane is going to be a great mom."

Jenny's new TV movie Santa Baby 2 will premiere this December.

Jim Carrey was seen spending some quality time on the beach with 6 1/2-year-old Evan Joseph Asher, the son of Jim's partner Jenny McCarthy. Doting Jim helped build sandcastles and played dumper trucks with Evan outside their Malibu beach home. Jim is also dad to 21-year-old Jane Erin Carrey.

Jenny recently stated why she'll never marry Jim: “I will never get married. I hate that I say ‘never’ because the universe always says ‘tricked ya.’ But Jim and I, we talk about it a lot - just how funny it is that everyone wants us to or expects us to. When you’ve gotten married and divorced, you realize, OK, that wasn’t a set-in-stone agreement. We don’t know why the piece of paper has to prove our commitment. I think our words are just as powerful. I already call him my husband. It’s a name. ‘Oh, come here, husband.’ So I don’t feel the need at all to wear a white dress again. I did it. I marked that one off the fantasy file.”

Jenny recently claimed that she helped Even recover from autism: “I heard Evan laugh…I jumped on the bed and started screaming. When he finally hugged me, I prayed, ‘Please God don’t let this be the only time.’ I made a deal with God. I said, ‘You fix my boy, you show me the way and I’ll teach the world how I did it.’”
