Gwyneth Paltrow graces the cover of Harper’s Bazaar‘s March 2012 edition and opens up about her husband, Coldplay rocker Chris Martin, and their two children Apple, 7, Moses, 5. The 39-year-old actress gets frank about remaining faithful, school runs and her father's death.

On her husband: “He’s very communicative, which is rare for a British man. If I’m in L.A. for three days working, then my husband does the school run; it’s always one of us.” She adds, "I think you do fall in and out of love and you just keep going, and every time you go through a really difficult phase, you rediscover something new and it just gets better. We've been married for more than eight years now, and we're still into it," she says. "I have little kids in school. I want to maintain my marriage and my family."

Gwyneth Paltrow Takes Supporting Parts Because Of Her Kids

Gwyneth Paltrow says she takes supporting roles in films to spend more time with her children, Apple, 7, and Moses, 5.

She shares, "I just had the summer off with them and now they're back to school again. Then what I'll do is look for more interesting supporting-size parts. I have not starred in a movie since I had my daughter seven years ago because it's too much. I would never see them and there's no point. So, if I get a good supporting part, it either means I do a few weeks of work and then I'm done, or it's two days this week, one day next week and so on. That's how I plan it."

It sounds like Gwyneth Paltrow's biggest fan just may be her mom Blythe Danner. In a new interview with Parade.com, the star of Meet the Fockers talks family, from her "extraordinary" daughter to her own most important role: Grandmother to Apple and Moses.

On her advice to Gwyneth about being a working mom in Hollywood: "Only take the projects that mean the most to you, and try to be there as much as you can. You have to balance it. She has a wonderful husband, as I did, and we used to take turns to make sure that neither of us were both gone at the same time. She’s an extraordinary mom, and I’m proud of her for the great mothering she’s doing."
