Actress Anna Friel and Harry Potter star David Thewlis may have called it quits last year, but in a new interview the Pushing Daisies beauty says she will "always love" her former flame.

"We were together for 10 years and I'll always love him very much," Anna tells Stylist magazine, adding, "He's a dear, dear man and we're great parents. He's always got his eye on Gracie, as have I."

Anna Friel, 33, and partner David Thewlis, 46, were spotted enjoying some Christmas Eve fun at Hyde Park’s Winter Wonderland in London with their always adorable 4-year-old daughter Gracie.

Anna – who has three movies coming out in 2010 – and David have been together since 2001 after meeting on a flight to Cannes.

Actress Anna Friel and boyfriend, actor David Thewlis were spotted leaving the Tented Theatre in Kensington Gardens with their daughter Gracie, 4, after seeing Peter Pan.

Gracie celebrated her fourth birthday last month, just three days before her mother’s birthday.

Anna and David began dating after they met on a flight to Cannes in 2001.

Like so many moms out there, actress Anna Friel has had to learn how to juggle the demands of family life and career since she and her partner, actor David Thewlis, welcomed their daughter Gracie almost four years ago.

The Pushing Daisies star recently talked to The Daily Telegraph about life as a working mom, admitting, “I'd be a liar if I said it was easy.”

Anna, 32, remembers the most difficult days came when she had to return to work shortly after Gracie’s birth, despite being up all hours of the night with her newborn. While filming Goal! in Spain in 2005, she says she went an entire week without sleep.

“The ground was moving and I felt I was going to faint. If you can get through that, you can get through anything. You get so over-tired. You want to be there for your child at night - and I was still breastfeeding, but then I'd get to the point where I couldn't sleep when I did get to bed. It went on and on. Eventually, a doctor gave me a sleeping tablet and I slept for a weekend."

Life is still busy for the hard-working mom, but it sounds as though she’s grown accustomed to the chaos.

“You just have to keep going - keep looking forward. If you stop, you're like, ‘Oh God, it's too overwhelming’. And believe me, I've had my fair share of those moments.”
