Bronx's Birthday Marks The "Greatest Year" Of Ashlee Simpson's Life
The Simpson-Wentz trio was spotted out shopping at Dragon Books in Los Angeles this afternoon (November 20).
Today also happens to be Bronx Mowgli's first birthday, and to celebrate, his proud family took to twitter to share their happy sentiments.
“Happy birthday bx,” tweeted his dad, Pete Wentz, 30. “You dont have twitter and cant read this. thanks to all my friends that recorded lullabies. cant believe its been a year.”
Ashlee Simpson, 25, wrote her son a message last night: “BX's 1st bday tomorrow! My angel is going to be a year!! The greatest year of my life.”

Since Bronx’s arrival last November, Ashlee has had nothing but happy thoughts about becoming a parent. Several months ago she told OK!:
Motherhood has made me everything that I am. It’s made me the happiest I’ve ever been in my life. I don’t think you ever know until you have a child what an amazing experience it is.
Baby Bronx’s aunt, Jessica Simpson, 29, also sent out a birthday tweet: “Happy Birthday to my precious angel on earth!!! Bronx is 1 today!! I LOVE HIM SO MUCH!!! I can't believe it has been a year already.”

Ashlee Simpson and husband Pete Wentz were all smiles as they left CVS Pharmacy with a new truck for their son Bronx, whose first birthday is coming up on November 20.
Mom Ashlee, with her newly dyed black hair, seemed to be in great spirits despite the drama surrounding her recent departure from Melrose Place.
Proud dad Pete recently told PEOPLE that becoming a parent has really helped him to appreciate his own father:
It makes me realize all of the little things that my dad sacrificed when he had me. It’s sad it took 30 years but I totally realize it now.
Ashlee Simpson & Pete Wentz Search For A Family-Friendly Home
Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are on the move. The couple have put their $4.5-million Beverly Hills home on the market and are reportedly looking for some new family-friendly digs now that their son Bronx Mowgli, who turns 1 next month, is getting older and more mobile.
"The house is built into the side of a giant hill and it doesn't really have any yard," a source tells Life & Style magazine."Now that Bronx is getting older they realised that really isn't a child-friendly house. They are going to sell this house and look for something that will be better suited to young children."
According to the 30-year-old Fall Out Boy rocker, their new home will need plenty of bedrooms. Pete recently told People that he hopes to have a big family:
Everything is awesome about being a dad. Eventually we want to be able to have our own soccer team!"

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz - with his new 'do - were spotted out and about in Hollywood today (October 17) with their son Bronx Mowgli.
The Fall Out Boy rocker recently revealed that he hopes to have a big family, telling People, "Everything is awesome about being a dad. Eventually we want to be able to have a soccer team."
Bronx will be celebrating his first birthday next month.

Ashlee Simpson had some company on a coffee run in West Hollywood yesterday: Her 10-month-old son Bronx Mowgli!
The Melrose Place star recently gushed about her baby boy's most recent milestones:
He’s incredible. He’s developing every week and couldn’t be better, couldn’t be healthier.... Right now it’s this cute little lispy kind of noise - he’s always like [makes noise]. 'Dada' was actually his first thing to say, then came 'mama' - he says 'dada' all the time! Dadada. He’s great! There’s nothing better, actually!"
Ashlee Simpson: "We Definitely Want A Big Family"
Mom - and new Melrose Place resident - Ashlee Simpson says she and her husband Pete Wentz "definitely" plan on having more kids.
"Oh gosh - we definitely want a big family," Ashlee tells JustJared. "We’re young - we’ll see. I would love to have a big family and I know Pete would, too."
The 24-year-old actress admits that between her son Bronx Mowgli, 10 months, and her new TV gig, she's got her hands full at the moment.
Speaking of Bronx, who she describes as "silly," the proud mom was happy to dish on his latest milestones.

Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz were spotted with their 9 1/2-month-old son Bronx Mowgli during a quick trip to PETCO in Studio City, California on Wednesday (September 16).
During Ashlee's recent appearance on The Rachael Ray Show, the 24-year-old Melrose Place star said that Bronx is quite the little comedian.
He cracks himself up all the time. Like, he’ll do something, and then he’ll start laughing. It’s cute. It’s very entertaining. He’s like, ‘I am so funny!’ And he probably gets that from me because I make jokes that are not funny, and I’m the only one laughing.”
Ashlee Simpson: "Being A Mom's So Empowering"
Ashlee Simpson says she has no regrets about being a young mom.
The 24-year-old Melrose Place star, who has 9-month-old son Bronx Mowgli with her husband Pete Wentz, tells Redbook magazine, "Being a mom's so empowering and incredible. I'm one of those people who believes that life brings things to you at a certain time for a certain reason, and if you just go with it, that's where the best moments come from."
Ashlee, who shares the cover of the October issue of Redbook with Alicia Silverstone and Connie Britton, reveals that pregnancy and motherhood have had a profound impact on her:
"I've grown up so much. Your body is changing, and it's such an amazing time to feel that connection ... Being pregnant was the healthiest I've ever been in my life. Except for the cupcakes."
Doesn't she envy her older sister Jessica's single lifestyle just a bit? "I really don't," Ashlee says, but adds of Jess, "She's always saying, 'Oh, I want a baby!'"
Ashlee Simpson-Wentz: First Trip Away From Bronx
Ashlee Simpson-Wentz hit Jimmy Fallon's couch in NYC on Thursday night (September 3) to promote her new TV series Melrose Place. This marked the first time the controversial singer has been away from her 9-month-old son Bronx Mowgli.
The 24-year-old mother-of-one is pictured above on her way to NBC's Rockefeller Center. Ashlee told Jimmy it was papa Pete's first time caring for baby Bronx solo.
"It's actually Pete's first time being home alone with him while I'm gone. He's doing good, he's sending all these pictures."
Given the devastating fires tearing through Southern California, the couple's home lost power while Pete was on daddy duty.
"Our house blacked out, but he managed to get through it," the 7th Heaven star said.
Ashlee Simpson Gushes About Her Happy Home Life
Happy mom Ashlee Simpson says life is good.
Now back to work on the new Melrose Place, Ashlee reveals that her return to acting has been a pretty easy transition.
“For me, it’s good. I’m home in L.A., it’s comfortable with me and my son. I like to work, so I get to do both.”
As for her home life with her "best friend" and husband Pete Wentz and their 8 1/2-month-old son Bronx Mowgli, the 24-year-old gushes to OK! that she loves "everything" about being a mom.
“Motherhood has made me everything that I am. It’s made me the happiest I’ve ever been in my life. I don’t think you ever know until you have a child what an amazing experience it is.”
She adds that little Bronx makes every day interesting as he learns new things and makes new discoveries.
“Every week, I’m learning something new from him and every week, he’s doing something new. He’s crawling and he’s got six teeth now. He says ‘mama’ and ‘dada.’ He loves music. Lately, he likes classic rock and Broadway music! My home life is all about Bronx.”
