Peter Andre Is Looking Forward To Christmas With His Kids

Peter Andre is looking forward to the Christmas season more than ever this year. The singer is hoping to have custody of stepson Harvey, 9, son Junior, 6, and four-year-old daughter Princess Tiaamii - his kids with ex-wife Katie Price - over the holidays.
"I'm hoping to have all three kids on Christmas Day this year as it's my turn," he said. "I'll hopefully be spending New Year with them, too, and I'd love to take them away for a few days.

Peter Andre recently camped out with his kids in the garden, only to find they preferred staying in the tent rather than the log cabin. Speaking of his two children with Katie Price, Princess, 4, and Junior, 6, and her 9-year-old son Harvey, the Mysterious Girl singer revealed the fun night the group had.
He said, "Last week, I mentioned I'd had a log cabin built in the garden for the kids, so I was very excited about having all three to stay at the weekend. We had a wonderful time, but they ended up spending more time in this little £70 tent I'd bought from a shop up the road than in the cabin - which let's just say cost a lot more. Thanks, guys!"

Peter Andre says he looks forward to walking down the aisle again but is unsure about taking that walk while pushing a stroller. He has two kids – Junior, 6, and Princess Tiaamii, 4 – with his ex-wife Katie Price and is also stepfather to Katie's nine-year-old son Harvey. And while he loves being a dad, the 38-year-old pop star says he doubts he'll expand his family.
"Part of me craves getting married again. But having kids? I'm not so sure," he says. "I wanted so many when I had the first two but now I don't know. I originally wanted six! I'm one of six and my dad is one of 12!"

Peter Andre To Release Children's Series

UK popstar Peter Andre, who recently released an autobiographical picture book title ‘My World’, has revealed he is penning a series of children’s books based on the stories he makes up for his own kids.
The 37-year-old singer, who is dad to Junior, 5, and Princess Tiaamii, 3, with ex-wife Katie Price, is thrilled at the idea of sharing his tales!
“There was a story last week saying that I'm planning a series of children's books, and it's true!” says Peter. “I loved doing my last book and I’m always making up stories for the kids. My first one will be called ‘The Strawberry Barbecue’. I can’t wait!”
Recently, in his new! Magazine column, the Behind Closed Doors singer admitted that spending time in Australia visiting family makes me feel like he is a teen again:
I'm having a ball Down Under. It's so nice to be back in the family home but, even though I'm now an adult and I'm here with my kids, just being in this house makes me feel like a teenager. When my dad calls me, I immediately think, 'Argh! What have I done wrong?' He's been bossing me about like he did when I was a kid and I love it. I might be 37, but I'll always be the baby of the family and he'll always tell me what to do.

Peter Andre Snaps Back After Katie Price's Divorce Comments

Peter Andre is fuming after comments made last week by ex-wife Katie Price that children of divorce are “lucky”.
During an interview promoting her new novel, Paradise, the 32-year-old star claimed that “all children with divorced parents are lucky because they get extra Christmas presents and trips out and two sets of birthday present.”
She went on to say, “I think it’s probably good I split with Pete when they were so young. I was about their age when my parents got divorced and I can’t even remember it, so hopefully they won’t either.”
However, the father of her two youngest children has a much different opinion:
“I have to say I really don’t agree with this,” says the infuriated dad. “I think that divorce absolutely affects kids no matter what age they are and that if it can be avoided, it should be.”
Obviously for some couples, divorce is the only option and there’s no other way for them. But I think, ideally, kids shouldn’t have to go through it and if they do, they certainly shouldn’t be classed as “lucky”. No amount of material possession make up for the fact that you don’t have both parents around you all the time.
Peter and Katie, who divorced in 2009, are parents to 5-year-old Junior and 3-year-old Princess Tiaamii, while Katie is also mom to 8-year-old Harvey from a previous relationship. She is now married to cage fighter Alex Reid.

Last month, UK pop star Peter Andre spoke out on being kept from visiting his step-son, Harvey, with whom he raised while married to Katie Price. Andre said of the situation, "It's been over two months and I'm missing so much... Kate doesn't want me to see him until I have a specially qualified nanny she approves of."
Price is reportedly upset by Andre making their issues public, telling the Daily Mirror, "The fact is that Pete took forever to organise a suitable nanny who is capable of meeting Harvey's special needs."
Price was also angered after Andre discussed bruises on Princess Tiaamii's face in his monthly Now! Magazine column. A source close to the situation said Price feels she has no other option that to sue, saying, "Now Katie feels seeking legal advice is her only option. Katie is referenced in nearly every article Andre does."
The two, who are also parents to son Junior, 4, were married in September, 2005 and split in 2009 after 3 1/2 years of marriage.

U.K. popstar Peter Andre - who has children Junior, 4, and Princess Tiaamii, 2 with ex-wife Katie Price - has been named the Bounty Celebrity Dad of the Year in London, England.
The doting dad, who also gained a beloved stepson - Harvey - when he married Katie, felt honored by the award.
This feels so good. It's been a turnaround year for me and the kids and it's an honor to be the subject of the public's support and best wishes. This means a huge amount to me as being a dad is my most important role."
The 37-year-old single dad addressed critics who said this will be the only award he will ever receive. "Even if it is, what a great award to get. I mean, there isn't a better award, there isn't - because it's lifelong. Other awards are for there and then, this is for life. My kids are going to know that I have won this."
