Chris and Allison are expecting their first child in early 2010. Ryder's mom is Chris' ex-wife, actress Kate Hudson.

Kate’s rumored relationship with baseball player Alex Rodriguez was apparently confirmed this past weekend as the pair put on a “picnic PDA” at the annual Yankees family picnic, which A-Rod’s daughters Natasha, 4 1/2, and Ella, 1, also attended.

Though Chris split from Ryder's mom Kate Hudson in 2006, she told Elle last year that they still remain close, saying, “Chris and I did not look at this from the beginning as any kind of traditional marriage: It’s about being a family forever — and we are. Whatever man I end up with, I will always love Chris.”

Basketball fans Kate Hudson and her 5-year-old son Ryder were on hand to watch the LA Lakers defeat the Houston Rockets at the Staples Center on Sunday.
Kate, 30, showed off her signature cool, casual style in jeans and a summery white top. Though the Fool's Gold star always seems relaxed and easy-going, she recently admitted she can be a pretty strict mom.
"My parents were really hard on me and yet they are my favorite people in the world and we have the greatest relationship," she says. "That’s how I’d like to raise my child. You love them but you have to put your foot down."
Ryder is Kate's son with her ex-husband, musician Chris Robinson.

Kate Hudson, her 5-year-old son Ryder Robinson, mother Goldie Hawn, stepfather Kurt Russell, brother Oliver Hudson his wife Erinn Bartlett and their 1 1/2-year-old son Wilder were seen getting coffee and returning to the family beach house in Malibu on Mother's Day.
We saw Kate vacationing with Oliver, Erinn and Wilder earlier this year.
Kate, 30, stars in Nine, set to hit the big screen later this year.

On the prying paparazzi, the Almost Famous star who turns 30 in a few days said, “They’ve become an entity to themselves. But eventually they’ll implode. They’re creating a house of cards that will inevitably fall. These are not nice people. When you’re taking your child to school, and they’re trying to get on school property to get a picture, it literally makes you want to just smack them.”
