Nahla Ariela Aubry on March 16, 2008 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Nahla means "honeybee" in Arabic; Ariela is Hebrew for "lion for God." "Her parents, Halle Berry and French-Canadian supermodel Gabriel Aubry, nine years her junio met at a Versace photoshoot in 2005. After six months with Aubry, she stated in an interview, "I'm really happy in my personal life, which is a novelty to me. You know, I'm not the girl that has the best relationships".
At one point, Berry had indicated that she planned to adopt children, but her experience playing a mother in Things We Lost In The Fire opened her mind to the possibility of motherhood. After initially denying rumors, she confirmed in September 2007 that she was three months pregnant.
At one time, Berry indicated that she did not intend to marry again, insisting the couple's life was already complete without the need for a marriage. She has stated that she hopes to have a second child right away. Aubry recently told In Touch magazine, "I'd like Nahla to have a sibling in 2009.

Actress Halle Berry was spotted doing a little shopping at Pavillions with her 4-year-old daughter Nahla in West Hollywood, Calif. on Sunday (May 19).
It seems Halle is calling on President Obama to seek help passing laws to protect children from paparazzi after an incident last week in which she lost her cool when photographers came uncomfortably close to her daughter. The Oscar-winning actress was caught on camera as she lost her temper outside a Los Angeles school Thursday, yelling at photographers, “I’m doing something honorable. I’m not harassing people.”

Halle Berry and fiancé Olivier Martinez were all smiles with her 4-year-old daughter Nahla in Malibu, Calif. on Saturday (May 5). The barefoot group enjoyed some fun in the sun near Halle's beach house as they celebrated Cinco de Mayo together.
Halle looked relaxed and happy, regardless of her ongoing legal issues. Last week, Nahla's father Gabriel Aubry returned to court, asking Halle to pay $500,000 in attorney's fees and $20,000 a month in child support payments.

It was a fun-filled weekend for actress Halle Berry and her always adorable 4-year-old daughter Nahla. On Saturday the Oscar-winner enjoyed some down time with the family, heading to the beach with her fiance Olivier Martinez and her preschooler for a seaside stroll (April 21).
The pretty pair were out and about again today, spotted en route to a birthday bash in Studio City, California (April 22). Nahla looked ready for a party in her cute blue-and-white dress.

Gabriel Aubrey took Nahla to The Grove in West Hollywood, Calif. on Thursday (March 22). The 4-year-old looked pretty in white shorts and a colorful striped top. At one point after Nahla dropped her toy - dad had to carry her and his purchase from Barnes and Noble.
Meanwhile - Halle Berry is reportedly looking for schools in Paris for their daughter.
